Sweet Lea ~

Me thinks great minds think alike

and at times, in unison ~

I am very intuitive, sometimes it feels

like a curse knowing some of the things

I know, but most times I feel it is a true

gift . Love you ~ MEStart the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.

Wow, Rogene, I hope all is well. If you went dancing, you must be ok.

Rogene,

I am glad your ear is better.

I had the tubes put in my ear on Tues. Hyperbarics is so much easier

now. They do feel a bit weird, but I am sure that will pass. He did

not like the idea of removing them when I am done, but I may push it.

My chest x-ray did not turn out well, they found something they did

not like. CT Scan tomorrow. I swear, if it is not one thing, it is another.

I did get the attention of the hospital staff regarding breast implants . . and gave them a breast implant lecture and "Beauty and the Breast" cards with blog info. . .

The doctor was particularly attentive . . . I gave him an education on Magnesium too!

They really didn't know what to think of me! . . . I had too much technical information for them to question me - (and look stupid)! One of the EM nurses said "WHO are YOU?"

I'm a bit tired, but doing fine. . . My quandary is if I should take the shots they would have given me in the hospital. My gut tells me I don't need them. I will be taking a blood thinner for the foreseeable future though. Getting up and moving about regularly should prevent another problem.

You wouldn't believe how this all came about . . . God's fingerprints were everywhere! . . I did all the right things, except to get up and move around more, and drink more water . . . I forced a cough when my chest hurt . . . took Coumadin the week before it happened . . . decided not to massage my swollen leg . . . took aspirin before going to the hospital . . . which I had taken note of the location - for some reason thinking that I may need to go there!

One of our dancers told me she had been praying for me . . sensing something must be wrong. . Prayers were answered!

Love,

Rogene

It's amazing how God works!

Rogene, you may want to check out the natural blood thinners as

well...which I am taking. This includes licorice root, cayenne and

ginger. Garlic too, of course.

PE - Pulmonary Embolism - in my case, a small blood clot traveled from my leg, through my heart, to my lungs. Lea has had much more serious PE's . . some of hers were apparently silicone.

It can be fatal . . . I was lucky that it was only a small clot, that my arteries are clear, that it dissolved quickly and that it didn't do any damage.
