Guest guest
Hi Lea, Are these silicone induced PE caused strictly by sliicone implants or are saline implants a danger as well because they have the silicone shell? I have never heard of this so im curious. > > Oh, Rogene, this is so frightening. When did this happen and are you on blood thinners? Honey, please do not sit at your computer for long periods. When Dr. Edworthy here in Calgary Foothills Hospital found fatty particles in women who had silicone breast implants, we all became frightened. > > My PE symptoms were different than the ordinary PEs. The doctors told me that is why I must stay on blood thinners for life. The symptoms that I had were shortness of breath and a cough with no blood. It was like an Asthma attack, and that is how they treated it at the ER. We think that many women have had these little clots, and they did not even know that they had had a PE. This is serious, because my pulmonary specialist told us that If I have another Asthma attack we must go straight to the ER, then she will be able to follow the path of the clot...this sounds scary. They will not allow me to die, but she is interested in the silicone fluid PEs. She is wonderful, and is a true believer of the dangers of these devices. When the ambulance came to pick me up, the firemen took the article on " Silicone Fluid Induced Pulmonary Embolisms " , I must go get another copy from the hospital...remember that I threw most of my research away. I was so traumatized by the mediation...they told me that breast implants were safe! > > Rogene, please be careful...we all love you so much....Lea > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` > Re: Goodmorning ~Happy New Year to you both with love: > > > Hi Rogene, > i am so happy to hear that everything is ok. Guest guest
Hi Lea, No im not concerned that i am at risk i am just so amazed at all of the things i have learned from the women on this site that anytime i hear off something new i am curious to find out more on the topic. Im just being nosey..lol I am still shocked after all these months how much damage thes implants can really cause. I thought I was so informed when i had the implants put in but this site has proven that i knew nothing of the real dangers. > > > > > > PE - Pulmonary Embolism - in my case, a small blood clot > traveled > > from my leg, through my heart, to my lungs. Guest guest
Cathie, Have you been tested for adrenal antibodies? It sounds like you have a need for supplemental cortisol. It would be better if you could take cortef than prednisone though. One is natural, the other is synthetic. Patty > > So maybe my asthma is not really asthma, after all? How do you tell?
