Guest guest
I think you are on to a GREAT IDEA! My son is 10 now and I still struggle to find things for him to do that involves siblings, peers and typical kids too. I could see a center combining things to do like Young at Art & Monkey Joes, with quiet rooms with puzzles & books, maybe a movies or video game room, snack area, and offices for pragmatics, OT, PT etc. And maybe add changing " themes " each month so it doesn't get boring. And a resource room for parents to share info and get info out to " newbies " , as we all know networking is the key to success with a special needs child. WOW! This would be great. I live in Palm Beach, but have time to help. Please contact me, I'd love to come to a meeting.
