Guest guest
, It took several months (like 6 +) to get my thyroid levels normalized. There is no way around it. You'll take medication - wait 6 to 8 weeks, check levels and adjust med. Wait another 6 to 8 weeks, check levels and adjust. Or, if you having new symptoms (hypo or hyper) adjust meds. It takes A TON of patience! I work full-time. I by no means feel great. But I do think working has forced me to get better. Work helps me stay busy and I don't think of my illness as often. I tend to feel worse on the weekends when I am not at work too. Don't get me wrong, it is so tough somedays. I can barely make it through the day. I wish I could go part-time, it would be perfect. I wish you luck on your test. Love, CLynn > > Girls, > > Iam not looking forward to this but am in a way. Guest guest
Dearest CLynn, I hope it dont take that long to get it right . Did you feel like you were having sugar problems also or is this your thyroid mimicking those symtoms ? How long have you been on thyroid meds and do you have to take them for good ? Guest guest
Lynn, So everyone here that has had breast implants that affected their thyroid has to take the thyroid meds the rest of their lives. Wow......society sure didn't tell me that one. Thanks for informing me of this. I am feeling tons better since on the thyroid meds just cant wait til I am all the way there. I probable dont have sugar problems either it is probably just mimicking it. Right ? Love Shellly In a message dated 3/28/2008 1:08:33 P.M. Guest guest
,If you're failing the spit test, you probably still have fungal issues. I'm thrilled to hear you are feeling so much better! You're going to get there . . . just be prepared for a roller coaster ride for a bit longer.Hugs,Rogene
