Guest guest
Cherie, Stress is about the biggest deterrent to healing there is .. It steals energy your body needs. I know it's easy to tell someone not to stress, and hard to do . . . But, if you'll figure out what kind of mental gymnastics it takes to turn your thinking positive and get rid of the stress, you'll find yourself feeling better soon. Guest guest
Hi Rogene, How are you? I have read some of your past posts and I'm glad you feeling better! I know that my stress/depression is maily caused by my hormanal imbalance. My ND told me that he admired me on how well I function in daily life even though my saliva test showed him such an imbalance and depression/anxious problems. He says that once we get me balanced it will probably change my life! That's my hope and prayers right now. Trust me, I'm working on it! It's amazing since I started hormanal therapy how much your moods and thinking are effected by your hormones! I guess I was also in great hopes that this diet would really improve my disgestion however it's very, very slow in coming. I must have toxins really, really bad. I know that I must be patient. I have at least learned a tremoundous amount about our bodies and how they work from this whole experience so I can make the second half of my life much healthier. Thanks! Guest guest
Yeah Cherie, I experienced completely shutting down my estrogen with a drug they use for women who have estrogen-receptive cancer. I couldn't believe how bad I felt . . . Mentally and physically! . . . I felt like the fast forward on the aging machine was pressed . . . After realizing that I couldn't stand my kids, my hubby, or myself, I decided it wasn't worth taking it . . .Turns out, for my specific situation, it only reduced my chances of reoccurance by 11% anyway! Those female hormones are very interesting! Rogene

Guest guest
Rogene, What drug did that, tamoxifen? I refused to take it. This time I think I have to take Femora. This is far more serious than last time. I am not liking it, but my cousin says she has no side effects at all from it. Guest guest
Cherie, Don't be discouraged....though I know how difficult this recovery is! I was so easily discouraged in the beginning because support was relatively new with the saline implants at the time that I got sick. I even remember women telling me that since I had salines for such a short time and got them out quickly, that I would heal quickly. NOT!! I wish it had been true, but healing was a looooong time in coming. I had to hang on to my hope with all the strength I could muster. So, I'm here to tell you, hang on, dear one! Two months of the candida diet and detoxing is, I'm sorry to say, just getting started. You have to give it alot more time before you will start to see significant improvement. If it's sooner than that, then you can rejoice. But I believe that even Dr. Feng's office tells you to give it a year at least before you will notice significant improvement. Alas, for me it was well over 2 years, and took a total of 4 years before I could feel well enough to say I was back to normal. I sure don't want that to be discouraging...so please hear my heart. I just don't want you to go through what I did, expecting to be better within a few months of explant. Oh, it was hard, watching those months tick by as I struggled day in and day out to feel well. It was exasperating beyond anything I'd every experienced. I almost lost hope, but I hung on to the words I felt my Father God had whispered to my heart..... " I will heal you. Be faithful! " He did. He was. I was healed. And it took 4 long years. Don't be discouraged....be hopeful! Stay positive and believe in your healing, never give up hope! It will happen in the proper time, and God will bring good out of all of your suffering. Guest guest
Boy, I'll second that about the hormones! Since I started on progesterone cream and triple estrogen cream, my head is clearer than ever, I've dropped 10 lbs, and I can stay up later with tons of energy. I'm amazed! Someone much younger (like 20 years younger) recently told me they wished they had the energy I do. I had to giggle to myself. It has been suggested that the adrenal glands take about 2 years to recover, and that is with proper care. Be patient as you go through the treatment for adrenal fatigue, and trust me, you do have alot to look forward to after your healing has passed a milestone. Life is really good again! Guest guest
I couldn't take Tamoxifen because I had a history of blood clots . . . The drug I took was Arimidex (sp?) . . . . A friend was part of the drug trial . . . She said she didn't experience any side effects. . . . Judging by her rapidly progressing facial wrinkles, it did hit her aging button! Guest guest
Krista, I'm sorry I did not get your email. Try sending it again and I will look for it. Sometimes I go in my emails and I have over a hundred from the group postings and I must has missed it. Sure I would love to chat with a, I think Dr. Huang did a good job on the lift however, I'm still not happy about the nipple issue....it looks odd. I want to let her know about that and how plastic surgery is by far not perfect. What a blessing that your digestive system is so much better....good for you! I'm also so glad to hear that the siberian euthero has helped! I'm on a lot of supplements too but my body takes so dang long to adjust to them....I start very, very slowly. I am going to have to reduce my expectations with this and know that this will take me a long time to recover. I'm so dang anxious to get on with my life....basically " get a life " ...and I am know realizing that my life is on hold for a long time. I guess I will have to get real use to being alone for the next couple of years. Dating is not looking like it's in my near future. It get very hard to do this alone. I take over the business on February 15th. Luckly everything has been in place for the billing service so taking over should be easy. My current boss will be helping me so that's a blessing. This is all new to me. I just hope I'm well enough to handle all this. Thanks so much for you kind words and support Krista! I really need them right now! I hate being a " downer " .
