Guest guest
Worked out fine, in the end ;-). I will not try Tri-lyte again, as that is the first time in 20 years I've become nauseous - actually lost the last pint or so in the toilet (not through the intended orifice, however!). The endoscopy technician said some patients had reported the same. They recommend Nu-lytely, which I used last year with no problems. The pharmacist apparently substituted a generic. The colonoscopy instructions said I could add Crystal Light lemonade to the prep - I'll try that next year. Not much sleep, as I was on duty and got called around midnight (oh joy). Fortunately, I had arranged someone to pick up for me in the morning. Results were fine, no issues, polyps, etc. " Descending colon indicative of quiescent ulcerative colitis " , or words to that effect. I've been with this GI for almost 30 years. Sadly, he's retiring before I do, so I have to train in another one! I doubt if I'll find one that can knowledgeably converse about tractors and science fiction, as this one can.
