Guest guest
Hi Sandy, I use Enzymedica Digest Gold http://www.vitacost.com/Enzymedica-Digest-Gold-180-Capsules Some of the others on the forum use Wobenzym N http://www.vitacost.com/Naturally-Vitamins-Wobenzym-N-Clear-Coated As far as vitamins I take Kalish Research Adrenal Support packets from Dr. Mercola. I tried to find it online but couldn't. Sometimes I take Gillham's Liquid Vitamins http://www.vitacost.com/-Gillham-Natural-Vitality-Liquid-Organic- Life-Vitamins As far as magnesium, Rogene is the one to ask about that. She recommended a good one a long time ago. I want to say it was Blue Bonnet brand but ask her to be sure. Guest guest
Ph, I use to have spasms in my eyes...I wouldn't worry about it ..... because I use to work for a eye doc and this sounds like your muscles starting to come back in your body. The first sign show in your eyes when muscles come back. That is great that you dont have digestive problems so great to hear that. Maybe if you try putting a patch over your good eye for a week will help strengthen the bad one.It forces the muscles to work and heal. I know that sounds strange but this is what we do for kids who have lazy eye to force them to use the bad eye to strengthen it and its hard because you cant use the good eye at all. Guest guest
Ph, My eyelids twitched and the eyeballs hurt like they were falling out. I get it on occasion but not near as bad. Make sure the patch is dark so your eye cannot even see the light. But when I was really bad my eyes moved very slowly and it was hard to focus no more than a second. So I would have to concentrate on things far away then read up close right away to build those muscles....I did this for a period of 10 times for 5 minutes a day. But I think all you need is to cover your strong eye and use the weak one for a week and if it start doing that again. Keep using the patch until the muscle gets stronger. The only thing is you will get a lot of questions on What happen to your eye? I hate all the questions. People can be so nosey but some people can be nosey for a reason because they really want to help you. Ya know what I mean? Love In a message dated 3/1/2008 9:23:04 P.M. Guest guest
Hi ,Yes, I know what you mean. I don't get out that much though for people to comment. Yesterday I went out to breakfast w/ a friend, then grocery shopping, picked up the kids and took them to Target because I had promised them...didn't want to go at all but they had been begging for a week and I felt guilty! Came home, honestly thought I was going to pass out and then went to a soccer game. It was way too much. I do better when I stick close to home for now. I got this wonderful CD a couple days ago in the mail for vision. It has eye exercises like you describe. I've only used it once but I feel absolutely wonderful after I listen to it...like I can conquer the world! It's by a guy who was given 2 months to live due to cancer but healed himself. He believes anything can be healed no matter how severe. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_/002-3831734-0655241?url=search-alias%3Daps & field-keywords=martin+brofman I ordered another healing CD from him but haven't received it yet. Can't wait to try it out! Thanks again for all the eye advice. I feel much better now. Love, PH >> Ph,> My eyelids twitched and the eyeballs hurt like they were falling out. Guest guest
Hi , Yes, the protocol is very confusing...that's one of the criticisms of the author...yet, he's really one of the very few who has taken time to put together a protocol and the research behind it. It is complex, though, to the point I feel I'm only doing the bare minimum...that's why you really should buy the book if you want to do more. Cutler suggests all kinds of supplements but I'm only taking what my doc recommended which is an adrenal support multi and vitamin C. Because it's so overwhelming, I feel I need the forum which is based on the book specifically. Yes, my brain fog has diminished as well as drunkeness and blurry vision but I still have visual disturbances and sometimes my fatigue is so bad that it hurts my brain...but it feels like my brain has the ability to understand if I wasn't so tired...weird. I know I'm improving but it's slow. Oh, Hg stands for mercury. And, no, I don't mind the questions at all. Take care.
Guest guest
Ph, I was curious if you were on thyroid...reading the protocol it say it would be easier to have meds for thyroid and adrenal support which you are taking. You said your on your 5th round how long did it take you to get there and what were your side effects that you had during the mercury detox? I need to know what to expect if you know what i mean? This is all new to me and scarey at the same time as I am sure it is for you too. Thanks Ph, Love In a message dated 3/9/2008 11:28:34 P.M. Guest guest
Hi , Yes, I'm on Armour for thyroid and Pregnenelone for adrenals. I was on DHEA as well for adrenals but my doc felt I no longer needed it after two months. My dosages are specific to saliva tests, blood work and symptoms and yours should be too. I started chelation at the first of the year. I am currently on my 6th round so it's taken about 2 1/2 months. The first few rounds lasted 3 days and I took several days off in between because being on the round was pretty rough. The rounds vary according to how much I could tolerate...I stayed on round for as long as I could and off for at least the same number of days or more. The side effects for everyone are different. My experience was that the DMSA caused major fatigue...to the point it was difficult to get out of bed. I knew when to stop because I'd feel like I couldn't take anymore and start crying (some feel this is the yeast increasing). As soon as I stopped the DMSA I felt better and better for the next couple days. Even on round I am still tired but not quite like it was at first. It's not pleasant but it's not horrendous like it first was. Just remember, stay low w/ dosage and don't increase until you've had plenty of time tolerating the low dosage. I went up to 100 mg per my doc's orders and it was hell like I have never experienced...despair, crying, wanting to die! At 12.5 mg though I don't experience those side effects at all. Also, if you take 100 mg early on you can also do more damage by redistributing more mercury into the brain. So, start out at 12.5 mg or lower if you want. 12.5 has worked for me and I'm now up to 25. Also, I think I am a fast metabolizer and so I started taking the DMSA every 3 hours instead of 4 per the forum's recommendation. That has helped diminish some symptoms but I'd start out with the four hours to see how you do. As far as side effects from ALA, they have been the same as shortly after I was poisoned...crawly feelings in the brain, stiff neck, blurry vision returned again, weird electrical like feelings in the brain...annoying stuff...but it's proof that the mercury is trying to work it's way out. I've been told by some on the forum that their vision gets worse when on round with ALA but disappears when they are off round. It's not pleasant, but it works and over time side effects diminish as long as you take it slow and steady. Guest guest
PH, I am going to stick with this chelator since I have 2 bottles of it. NO DMPS for me I am just going to have to tolerate it. Girl ,, you are passing me up on these rounds now....I am happy for you I cant wait to be there like you are. Thanks for the tips again........Whew !!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think if you stay on a round for 5 days is that considered 2 rounds or NO.....I am trying here. How long do you stay on a round now with the ALA ? Kefir has always soothed me if I feel nauseated. Yogi detox tea is also good...lots of spices and herbs that kill the bad guys. No, chelation is not fun, but I can tell I'm improving...just finished my 7th round of DMSA/2nd round of ALA. ALA has helped immensely w/ vision and brain fog although still have work to do. No, DMSA doesn't give me the poops. I'd give it some time. Some people don't tolerate DMSA...if that's the case you still have DMPS or other natural chelators. Hang in there.
