Sarasota: Help sought locating missing man with autism

VENICE - The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in

locating a missing man who suffers from autism.

45-year-old Osborne of North Port was visiting Beacon House in the

1600 block of South Tamiami Trail in Venice yesterday afternoon when he

disappeared.

Osborne is 6 feet tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last

seen wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. Due to his autism,

he will not normally initiate conversation with strangers.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Sarasota County

Sheriff's Office at 861-4900.
