Guest guest
April, I use all 3 to kill the candida. I think that just using the Olive leaf is not going to get it. The caprylic Acid will do the job better. Wow girl I know it seems like a lot all of us think that way. Actually I was doing a lot more than that I have cut down to where you are now. I am very fatigued also. Have you tried a sauna or ionic Foot bath to help you futher along yet. I know my sauna helps alot. And did you try coffee enemas yet? These are things to help you detox that bad stuff from the body. I know this is hard to go through because I am going through the same thing just keep pressing on dont give up just get mad and try harder with some detox methods. And you need to stay away from all sugars and carbs in order to get better that is what I was told. This can prevent your healing. Love In a message dated 2/29/2008 6:37:30 P.M. I've done SO much research on all this stuff over the past 2 years that my head is spinning! :oOI'm hoping some of you knowledgable ladies can give me a little direction. Here are the symptoms I'm still experiencing:-Headaches (usually feel like sinus headaches)-Occasional Mild dizziness or off-balance feeling-Nasal congestion-Ears feel weird like they tickle or have something in them, sometimes they hurt-Gas/bloating/gurgling/cramping-I "go" regularly and usually have soft stools, but still have to strain most of the time, it's like my bowel muscles are lazy or something?-Hemorrhoids (they don't hurt but I've had them for 11 years!)-Fatigue (not as bad as it used to be, though)-Have many days where I just feel "blah"-Occasional brain fog-Hands and sometimes feet get hot and red and swell, usually in the evenings or after I've been active or gotten warm-Swollen glands in neck, sometimes hurtOk, that's all I can think of for now. Here's what I'm doing at this point:Diet - I eat healthy...mostly sprouted breads or whole grain, fresh or frozen veggies, fruit, kefir, greek yogurt, lean meats, whole grain pasta, brown rice, etc. But I don't completely avoid sweets. I usually will have 1 small treat each day, I try to limit it to less than 10gr sugar and try to have something homemade or "healthy" like dark chocolate. I also use jam and sweeten my coffee w/agave nectar. I use raw honey in my yogurt... Oh and I drink only water, a little coffee and herbal tea. Supplements - whoa baby, there's a lot! )Before Breakfast1 Triphala (plan to increase to 2), 2 Dr.Ohirra's probiotics, 4 Fiber caps (oat, acacia, flax), 200mg Mag With BreakfastMulti, Enzyme, allergy supplement, 500mg Olive Leaf, EFA, Cal/Mag, Beta GlucanWith LunchMulti, Enzyme, allergy supplement, 500mg Olive Leaf, 500mg Vit C, Cod Liver Oil, women's herbal, 72mg Mag, Cal/Mag, Beta GlucanWith DinnerEnzyme, allergy supplement, 500mg Vit C, Cal/Mag, 500mg Olive Leaf, Cod Liver Oil, Beta Glucan Before Bed1 Triphala " ", 3 Dr.Ohirra's, 99mg Mag(I also use an olive leaf nasal spray)Ok, if you made it all the way through that, thank you! ) So here's what I'm wondering:I've been on olive leaf for a year (yep a year!). I've been reading lately about how yeast can become resistant to an anti-fungal if it is used for too long. I switched from OL to caprylic acid a few months ago and my sinus pain flared up terribly. So I've been afraid to stop using the OL. But since I'm not progressing, I'm afraid the OL is just working to a certain point. I'm thinking I need to do something different. I'm taking so much stuff I am reluctant to add anything without discontinuing something else. I just started on the Triphala hoping it will get my bowels moving a little more "aggressively". It is also a great detoxifier. Should I switch from OL to CA? I've never tried oregano oil, either so that's an option.Thoughts? Guest guest
April, Wow, that is a lot of supplements. I wish I had the answers to the finger and toe joints - mine do the same thing. I did buy some FAR gloves that I wear and it seems to help, the company also makes socks. I have pain with my joints though, not sure if you do or not. Also, I had the sinus issues pre-explant. I use saline solution to keep my sinuses moist and then swab some lamasil (jock itch cream) inside each nostril. After I did that a few times, I haven't any sinus issues since (knock on wood). I am sensitive to most supplements so I don't use them right now. I see a holisitic doctor and Saturday and I am hoping for recommnedations. Sorry, I wish I could offer more advice. Guest guest
Hi April, I have so many of your same symptoms! I noticed that when my yeast would flare I'd have the same strange feeling in the ears with either tickling, buzzing or pain. What seems to help me for that is Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE). I take 15 drops in a few tablespoons of water a few times a day. Beware though...it's the most vile tasting crap ever!! But it works:o) It sounds like you have a good protocol going and I think you're right about rotating antifungals. I went to a mercury toxicity support group the other night where they discussed different protocols. The ones who were doing the best at relieving yeast symptoms were rotating antifungals. Some were even rotating every day of the week (i.e. garlic on Monday, OLE on Tuesday, Usa Urvi on Wed, etc.)! I'm not going to go to that extreme but for now I rotate w/ Nystatin and GSE weekly and then try to eat more garlic when I think of it. Do you do any detoxing like epsom salt baths, colonics, coffee enemas or saunas?...not that you necessarily need to. I just know I feel slightly better on the days I detox, particularly w/ the coffee...it makes the overall malaise or " blah " feeling not quite as bad and gives me a little more energy. Guest guest
Sis, I dont think taking Xanax is helping you that just creates more toxins because its a medication. In order to get complete healing you need to try to stay away from meds. That infrared sauna will help you tremendously. Hopefully you had your capsules removed!!! I made that mistake and that is why I wasn't getting better. Supplements use to make me ill as well at first for the first 1 1/2years. But I can say coffee enemas really pull out a lot of toxins have you tried this yet? I wished I would have tried this years ago. The things that bother me I usually take a night so I cant tell if its bothering me while I am sleeping. I drink sleepy time tea to help me get restful sleep as well. I have a infrared sauna and it works great but those coffee enemas I think work better. Just thought I would give you my input what works for me. Love In a message dated 3/1/2008 8:52:35 P.M. I had my implants removed 2.5 years ago - I have definitely improved since then but I do feel there are toxins trapped in my body still. I have some minimal joint swelling, mostly my thumbs still swell up but not as bad as they used to. I still struggle with brain fog and have been taking Xanax for that, which I don't like doing, but I need to work and that's what keeps me in the game. Guest guest
Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I know when you are dealing w/your own health issues it is not always easy to help someone else w/their problems, so it means a lot. ) I have taken note of your recommendations and I'll be thinking and praying about what to do next! I know one thing's for sure, as soon as we have the money I am going to get a comprehensive stool analysis like the one you did, PH. It would help me a lot to confirm what I'm actually dealing with here. Thanks to all! April

Guest guest
Hi , I'd love to get off the Xanax, while it probably does help hide the brain fog, you're right it probably just contributes to the toxins and doesn't really get rid of the problem. It also made me gain a little weight. I am confident that my capsules were removed because I used Dr. Feng and when I woke up from surgery, they showed me the capsules. Plus I know she's a big proponent of capsule removal and she said she worked for 3 hours on getting everything out. However, I haven't done much in the way of detoxing. My problem is that I become sensitive to anything that I take for more than 3 days - it becomes a systemic problem, so even if I took it at night I would still end up with the same result. After 3 days I end up with shooting pains throughout my entire body, or my blood pressure suddenly becomes high, etc. So, I think the sauna will be better than ingesting anything. I never have tried the coffee enema, although it does sound like alot of people have had success with it, I may try that - I'm just a bit fearful since I end up with symptoms for months if something doesn't go well. Guest guest
Sis, You have to try the coffee enemas...WOW what a difference it makes for me daily. I dont think I could live without them. All my systems seem to be a lot milder when I do them. I am sorry to hear you are very sensitive to everything and yes Dr. Feng does an excellent job so I know she removed all the capsules. I use to be on Ativan and went off on my own because I just wanted to get better so bad. Detoxing made me less sensitive to vitamins like juicing if your up to it. But the coffee enemas felt like they got more toxins out than anything. Love In a message dated 3/2/2008 8:47:00 A.M. I never have tried the coffee enema, although it does sound like alot of people have had success with it, I may try that - I'm just a bit fearful since I end up with symptoms for months if something doesn't go well.Sis> > >> > > I've been sort of doing the same thing for a long time now and I > > feel > > > like it's time to make some changes.
