Bindi, Thank you so much for responding to my post!! I do indeed feel like the Bride of enstein and it is reassuring to hear from those of you who have been here and come out the other side. It is humbling to have bruises and stitches and dents and mushiness and to be unable to wash my hair or use my arms. It's hard to imagine it all healing up and bouncing back. I think you really hit it on the nose with the feeling of build up before explant and then 'Is that it? Aren't I supposed to feel elated?" That is exactly it. I do feel relieved, but in a subtle kind of way. Thank you for giving me hope! Now I can say they look fabulous, better than before implants. It does take some time to achieve your final result. It also takes time to get used to the idea that now the worst is over and it's time to travel on the path to healing. I think feeling depressed is normal in these circumstances. You've spent all this energy gearing up for the big day, and now you might feel like, "That's it? Aren't I supposed to feel elated?" Katy, you WILL feel better about this as time passes. You will look and feel better and better, slowly and surely. Bindi
