Guest guest
Lynn ~ Sweetie, I am so sorry you are having this ! Yes, I have had it for years. It moves around the body. Nothing visible, and one of those things I call a short circuit to my brain. I know that periphral neuropathy can do this, I have had it since I got the durn implants. It was one of my first symptoms. I now have permanent numb places all over me. I have done lots of reading on this, and am still baffelled. I know there are several reasons for PN, I also know that B-12 deficiency and or anemia can do it, I also think the neuro-toxins we have can do it. Lighten your stress load if you can. I believe Cathie has some good suggestions for this also. Hope this goes away soon, love you ~ DedeStart the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year. Guest guest
Oh, Lynn, I have been having problems since Christmas. My leg was so bad, but it seems to be getting better each day. The Cortisone shot caused a flare and it took until now to work, way over a week. I am so sorry that I have not been very supportive, but things are getting better, and I will smarten up. Honey, we all seem to be extreamily sensitive to every chemical there is. I can smell cigarette smoke a mile away, and the smoke from the fireplace bothers me too. My life has changed so much, because most all cleaning products make my tongue burn worse. We use mild dish washing soap for most everything...except the kitties pans. I have been told, that I do have Sjogren's Love you...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````` Skin Pain> > > Okay, new symptoms... great. > > It started with a burning type sensation under my skin on the back of > my left thigh. Guest guest
Lynn ~ I am glad you are seeing your MDND this week. You know, it seems everyone is flaring lately. Makes one wonder why, perhaps more polar tilt which would make the electro-magnetism be off, and we, like everything need to be in balance. Wonders me....... I hope your doc has answers and a remady for you to feel better ! Love you ~ DedeStart the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year. Guest guest
Lynn ~ Honey, pain is pain, and it is all equal to pain... I have no more than anyone else. I am so glad you shared your pain, it really helps to talk about it, get it out. I know talking about what I go thru helps me to get it out. Then when you hear the support you get from our sisters, that helps the pain be replaced with all the love we give each other. Love you ~ DedeStart the year off right. Guest guest
Lynn, I get that all the time. I keep looking at my burning pains thinking I will see something appear, and then nothing. I actually have one on my upper thigh today. I keep rubbing it hoping to make it go away. I wonder if it has something to do with neuropathy. spinkscl <spinkscl@...> wrote: Okay, new symptoms... great. It started with a burning type sensation under my skin on the back of my left thigh. There is no red on my skin or any rash, just feels like my skin is burning. This lasted for about 1 day. Now today, the leg is better but it has moved up to my back - around where my bra strap is. It sort of hurts to wear clothes (boy that sounds silly). It hurt to lean back in my chair because my shirt was pressing on it. I sound like a wacko. No redness, no rash - just a burning sensation. Has anybody experienced this? If yes, any advice? Thanks so much.Lynn- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search. Guest guest
, It is such a strange feeling. Feels like I should have a rash but my skin looks perfectly normal. I am sorry you are dealing with this. Lynn > Okay, new symptoms... great. > > It started with a burning type sensation under my skin on the back of > my left thigh. Guest guest
My previous physician was treating me with low light laser acupuncture. It worked great, however, he moved out ot state....Now, I can't find anyone who treats that way.saxony01 <saxony01@...> wrote: Studies have shown the FAR infrared light can help Peripheral neuropathy in as little as one treatment. Guest guest
Lynn, Yes, I had chemo 18 years ago, I was a cancer survivor then a silicone breast implant survivor. I think the implant weakened my immune system terribly. Makes you wonder? Bob is my housemate, he is 85 years old and doing fine. He takes things as they come. I won't have any more info. on tests until Tues. eve. I do know this type of cancer is treatable. Don't know for sure if it is anywhere else, there is a lesion on my liver, but could be other places or more in the liver. I also know my pleural cavity is rapidly filling with fluid again. I will have to have it drained again. I dread that. AND I hate, hate, hate waiting for test results.
