Guest guest
Hi Patty I will give you a call. I am hanging in there. I am working 20 hours a week in an office and I really like it! I know that I could work fulltime now if I wanted, but I like part time. To update everyone, I had saline breast implants for eleven years. I had fms before I got the implants, but no one told me there could be any repercussions to the implants. After all, it is just saline. Sound familar? Well I deterioted slowly for eleven years, thinking it was just my fms. Then my husband died in 1998. The stress of that put my body over the edge. I developed all kinds of symptoms in 2001, to the point that I truly felt I was developing scleroderma and was dying. I found this wonderful support group and Patty. Through them I hooked up with Dr. Feng and got my implants removed. Within 2 weeks my terrible bizarre brain dysfunction left permanently. I continued to see steady improvements once on antibiotic therapy. I was diagnosed with having 2 different mycoplasma's. Though I still get muscle spasms and tendon pain at times, overall I am 90% better than I was. Like Patty, I have done many things to detox and continue many of these things. I am now almost in menopause, so I feel like I am doing really well considering how hard menopause symptoms have been for me! I am expecting my health to take a big leap once my hormones have quit fluctuating. One thing that has come back during this menopausal stuff is vulvadynia. It is very frustrating to say the least. But I am working on getting it gone or at least almost gone again! So, I hope this encourages any newbies. For many, if not most of us, the intial explant brings some positive changes, but not an instant healing. I find that I will always have to try to be proactive to keep the pathogens and toxins under control, but I can pretty much live my life normally! Guest guest
Kathy, Congratulations on your almost-near recovery! It brings hope to us all that you have your life back. I'm curious about your mycoplasmas and what specifically you were tested for. I have mercury toxicity and have read that underlying bacterial infections often accompany them. When I went to the infectious disease dept, they refused to test me for mycoplasma because I didn't have a hacking cough...yet, I've read that that isn't always a symptom. What tests did you have? Thanks, and good luck with the last 10%! Love, PH > > > > Kathy, > > It is really, really good to see you posting on our group again. > > Please call me....I'd love to get caught up. You can find a lot of info on mycoplasma by doing a web search for "Dr. Garth Nicolson mycoplasma".It's an ugly story! . . . Most doctors aren't up to speed on mycoplasma.Hugs,Rogene
