That is great news, ! Keep us posted, we are pulling for him too, especially

Congratulations!!! That's wonderful news. I know what you mean about feeling like you're in a dream. I felt the same way when got his lung transplant, and often wonder if it will be the same when we get the call for his liver. Sending wishes for a quick and uncomplicated recovery!!! So, as I was running around getting ready and calling everyone, had the nurses discharge him and we were on our way.The surgery began at 1:00 pm. I always thought there was a hurry, but apparently not. Anyway, they finished at around 7 pm. The surgeon said everything went fabulous, but he did have a lot of scar tissue from his J pouch surgeries. He is in SICU of course and still on a vent. He will be going back into surgery tomorrow to remove some blood clots from his abdomen. My goodness, I have never seen so many iv lines in all my life! But the nurses are wonderful and I get to go seem him anytime between 10 am and 5 pm and again from 8:30 pm unitl 10pm. I just checked into a motel and am heading back over to the hospital in just a bit. I knew all of you would want to hear the good news. Please pray for us that there will be

few complications. I still feel like I am in a dream!wife of UC and PSC 2000J pouch 2004Transplant November 18, 2006!!!!!!!!!
