Thanks for the compliment! I just cut all my hair off yesterday,

getting used to it right now but it is fun!

It is so nice to have you posting. I have been in la la land w/ the

Lupus diagnosis and what to do. I joined the Lupies group but

it is so depressing that I can't bear to read most of the posts.

They are all on so many of the harsh drugs. I would prefer to

naturally detox unless I have to take a drug. So anything that works

well for you, please let me know. I am willing to give it a try.

Right now I do the ionic foot baths. I do herx a littl after those.

I have Hashimotos too, so I take synthroid everyday which has helped

with my depression issues. When I flare it mostly affects my joints,

hands and hip mainly. I also have sun sensitivity -

hyperpigmentation on my face. Oh, keloid scars too. I was explanted

in April of 07 and hope to concur this Lupus before I get a full-

blown dx.

Thanks again for all of your postings! It helps reassure me that I

can do this and I hopefully I can have a baby someday too.

Hi a,

Ah, you are so sweet! So far I am loving the new hair. When your

sick taking care of long hair is a pain in the butt. This will be

one less thing I have to stress about every morning.

What are fotofacial treatments? Right now I am using Eminence

organic products, they are pricey but my face is looking better. A

long time ago I used Retin-A and went in the sun - played softball.

I think I ruined my skin back then. Now everytime my face gets sun I

get a new big brown looking dirty spot - I HATE it. Thanks god for

make-up. I will have to look in to the two creams you mentioned but

I want to make sure to stay away from the foto facials. Please try

to describe them so I can make sure to tell them no thanks if they

offer. I have a bad memory with all this implant illness junk.

I didn't have a My Space until December. Some of the other gals from

the board had one and encouraged me to create one. I never thought

at 35 I would My Space, but it is actually pretty fun and I have

reconnected with many high school friends. Lots of my family members

have them too - another surprise.

We stayed at Iberostar Tucan. We wish we could go back, it was so

nice and relaxing. I could use less stress.

Are you explanted yet? Sorry, I haven't caught up on all the posts

from the board. I had a flare and was sick for a while. Feeling a

bit better right now (knock on wood). I was explaned by Dr. Huang on

4/13/07. Pre-explant I thought I would be disabled but I made it

through and I am still working full-time. I also finished my BS in

Business Admin in May of 07. Rough 2007! I hope 2008 is much much

better.

Hi a,

Thanks for the info on the bleaching liquid, I will have to ask about

it. I haven't been diagnosed with Lupus yet but I am on the verge.

I do not " not " have it and I do not " have " it - I am in limbo. Oh, I

think they call that Implant Illness. Oh yeah, there is no such

thing - HA, yeah right. It is all in our heads!

I am glad you found the group. I found the group in December of 06,

I do believe it saved my life. I was going down the hill quick. I

went from a very active healthy person to feeling like I was 90 and

could barely function mentally or physically on a daily basis. It

took all that I had to make it through work each day, but I knew I

could not lose my job!

I am much better since explant but still not myself. I have good

times and then bad. Luckily the bad seem to be further and further

apart. I can't wait until this implant illness becomes a bad

memory!

Dr. Huang is wonderful. I live in Colorado so she was only about an

hour drive for me. She removes them properly and at a reasonable

price. I did not get a lift, but I did get fat transfers. Pre-

explant I was a 34 B, with implants a 34 C and now I am a 34 A but I

fluff a little more each month. My implants were above the muscle

and placed through my belly button (due to my tendousy for keloid

scars).

I believe the full cost was $6800. I opted for the surgical center

rather than the hospital which is cheaper I believe.

OH - new topic! I got SOOO sick of the food. I loved guacamole when

I first got there, by the time I left I couldn't stand the sight of

it. We were so happy to find a Mcs in Playa Del Carmen on one

of the last days we were there. But we loved the hotel, it was built

into a forest. We had to walk through the terrain to get to the

beach. We saw so much wild life, it was amazing. I love cruises too!

I'll pray for you to see Dr. Huang soon! She is busy because she is

good, so don't be surprised when if you have to wait a while.
