Guest guest
~ It is scarey. All aspects of it are, as it is the unknown, and the unknown is an area we can " think " ourselves nutz over, trying to imagine every aspect of something that will more than likely be totally different than what we imagine. God Bless YOU, ! Have a wonderful day ! ! Explant is easier than implant. Dr Feng will do a wonderful job with your surgery ! Hugs Dede Start the year off right. Guest guest
ok well yes i have just accepted the fact that i will have no sensation there but i did know that was a possiblity going in. I was more concerned about the whole breast in general. The way he made it sound was there would be a big hole in the chest cavity and many exposed nerves.. Guest guest
I never doubted for a minute that i wasent blessed. I complelty believe that he lead me to this group when i started getting sick and then provided the means to help me get them " properly " removed. Sure i will be paying them off for the next 20 years but at least i will only feel crappy when i write the check...lol. Guest guest
, Any surgery on the breast can have affects on the nerves, and surprisingly, they can be good effects as well. Some women have had the feeling return to numb breasts after implant removal, or had sensation return to nipples that had been lost with implants. And vice versa, sensation that had been there can be lost as well. Every case is different, so there is no way to know which way you will go. It all depends on where your nerves are, where the implants are, and how skillful the doctor is. Guest guest
Ok thank you Patti. I relize no one can say for sure what my results will be including Dr Feng because there is no way to know. I received all my information on the procedure this past Friday so I am starting to panic a little even though i know this is best. > > > > Does anyone know if having an explant procedure can affect any > nerve > > damage that may have been caused by the original procedure. > Basically > > i went to see a local doctor before i scheduled my explant with Dr > > Feng. Guest guest
Katy, You might find that you'll feel better once you start moving about . . . Weather permitting, I'd suggest going for several short walks a day. . . Sometimes when we turn off our engine, we need to jump start it to get going again! . . . You youngun's probably never jump started an engine, have you? In the olden days of standard transmissions, you could get the car rolling, then pop the clutch and the engine will start. . . I don't think they can do that anymore! Anyway the point is to get up and move, even if you don't feel like it . . . The feeling will follow the action. Guest guest
Rogene, You would not go walking around here right now. BRRRRRRRRRRRR. Below zero and a wind chill of way below for tonight. I won't be out. Will warm up as the week goes on. I see the doc tomorrow, so hope for better news than what I find online. Guest guest
Hi Lynda . . . I keep seeing frigid temps on TV . . . Fortunately, we're playing snowbird for just a bit longer . . .enjoying the mild temperatures of Mesa, Arizona. I hope you're not taking everything you read seriously! . . . You know how wrong most of the information about breast implants has been . . .and how most doctors don't have the foggiest concept of natural medicine! . . . I know that, if anyone can beat this beast, it's you. . . Please keep those positive thoughts flowing . . Your body will get the message! . . . Unless you're really weird, there's no expiration date stamped on you! Love, Rogene
Guest guest
Rogene, Knowing how wrong many printed things can be does give me hope. Guest guest
Lynda, If printed stuff is distressing, maybe you'd be better spending your time giving your body positive messages . . . You don't need the stress! Plase visualize, hear and see yourself as perfectly healthy . . . free of cancer . . . getting better and better every day! . . . You'll feel like you're lying to yourself at first . . . but before long your body will start believing you! Love, Rogene
Guest guest
Hello, Can anyone tell me what type of shirts i should take with me for ex plant that will be comfortable with the drains. I looked at the pictures but i wasn't sure if i need a huge t-shirt to hide them or if they are easily concealed by a jacket or sweater? Thanks,
Guest guest
Thanks Krista. I am scheduled for Friday with Dr Feng. I was suppose to have them out back on 2/20 but i came down with a horrible cold or the flu so now i am scared to death that i am going to catch something again. I was due to leave Tuesday and came down with everything that Monday. > > > > Hello, > > Can anyone tell me what type of shirts i should take with me for ex > > plant that will be comfortable with the drains. Guest guest
a, I am so glad to hear you are in such great spirits. That is wonderful. I'm sure you I am ready to cry. I feel like i am coming down with another cold and just don't know what to do. My surgery is Friday and i am terrified that i am going to get something again and reschedule. Me and my husbands work have been so wonderful with us taking time off and having to reschedule but i don't know what to do at this point. I am trying to convince myself i am fine but you know how it is when something is planted in the back of your mind. I am so excited that this will all be over in a few days but it seems like this is just not meant to be. I have been perfectly fine health wise since the summer and within the past 4 weeks i just can not get rid of this cold or whatever it is? I'm sorry i don't mean to whine but i am just terrifies at this point that i am going to have to cancel again. Guest guest
- I just wanted to write and let you know I will be praying that you will not have to reschedule this again. I really think there is a nasty cold/flu going around. I was explanted at the end of Nov. and about 3 days before my surgery, my throat got scratchy and the usual congestion that goes along with a cold. My PS told me to take Zinc and it seemed to put a hault on my cold. When I had surgery, I still did not feel 100% from the cold but she was fine doing my surgery anyways since I did not have a fever and was not feeling any worse. I also have been concerned since I seem to have been fighting this cold on and off since then. I have never really been sick or feeling like I have a cold for this long. It concerns me that my body is not fighting it off like it should. However, my mom has been fighting it just as long and she has been alot worse than I have...she has never had implants. So, I think it is just going around this year really bad. Try to stay positive and check with your PS to see if you can take Zinc or something to help you (if you are not already doing that). Keep us posted and know I am thinking of you praying you will go as scheduled this Friday!!!! Lots of Love, Beth explant question> > > > > > > > > Hello,> > > Can anyone tell me what type of shirts i should> > take with me for ex> > > plant that will be comfortable with the drains.> > I looked at the> > > pictures but i wasn't sure if i need a huge> > t-shirt to hide them or if> > > they are easily concealed by a jacket or> > sweater?> > > > > > Thanks,> > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _> Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Hi beth, That makes me feel much better, thank you. Your symptoms sound exactly like mine do. Nothing terrible right now but i don't know at this point what i can take and what i cant. I don't care if i get hit with the full blown flu again as long as it is after the surgery. I think my system is just completely shot right now because i seem to be getting everything that comes along. I think Dr Feng said as long as i dont have a fever and i can breath clearly i should be ok for surgery. Guest guest
Zinc and vitamin C! Get those chewable vitamin C's (I like the orange flavored ones) and take a 500 mg tablet every hour of the day. You can't get too much Vitamin C. And when you are sick, your body uses Vitamin C quickly. Keep it coming every hour and you will be helping your body fight the fight.
