Dear UM-NSU CARD Constituents and Supporters: Some relatively good budget news for a change – the statewide CARD program has been funded by the state legislature at the same amount as last year. While this still represents a "relative cut" since our constituency numbers have gone up dramatically and our fringe benefit rates have also increased, we are nonetheless very thankful to have maintained our state budgets for one more year! And we thank each of you who cared enough to write a letter or make a call on the program's behalf.
