Guest guest
Hi a, You did really well with 8 minutes! It took me a few times before I could hold it the full 15. It's easier to hold for 15 if you're cleaned out first. Some people do this with just distilled water and then do the coffee. For me, I just use the coffee twice because it seems like a little less work. So, I let just a little coffee in, clamp the tube and wait til it feels like I can handle more. I keep doing this until I'm full and I only hold this batch for about 3 minutes. Then I go release it and then start over, adding a little at a time until I'm full and then hold for 15. Just takes practice. By adding a little at a time, I cramp less. If I cramp anyway, I breath out til it passes. As far as the Epsom salts bath, I've read to make the water as hot as you can tolerate it and stay in for 20 minutes or until the water is cool. I try to do a full 20 but I get antsy and am usually out by 10. Also, I use the epsom salts as a scrub because the salts are so huge that no matter how hot the water is, they don't melt. One other thing I've read is save soap and shampoo for the end because it will affect the epsom salts. Hope this helps.
