UA3Mom ~

Are your breasts having any pain?

Pain is a coverable diagnoses for exploratory

and removal of toxic trash. If your docs dont

believe your implants are causing you pain and

illness, then they are NOT who you want to

do any surgery on you.

The doctors that dont believe that implants

with their 40 neuro-toxin poisens that make

them cause illness, just dont have the education

and do not need to be touching you !

Here is some education for you to share with anyone

that doesnt know how silicone affects you:

The FDA has approximately 300 thousand Med-Watch adverse reports.

FDA/CDC/ATSDR/EPA has done nothing to find out why we are sick even though they have been notified.

How many of the sick implanted, injected and offspring children were tested with state-of-the-art equipment for silicone toxicity, toxic chemicals, heavy metals, ionized platinum, fungi, bacteria, algae, slimes, biotoxins from mold, hypersensitivity reaction to common chemicals, short term memory…. ????

Both silicone and ionized platinum can cause allergic reactions. The shelf-life and storage conditions for Intravenous saline is TWO YEARS at a temperature NOT exceeding 25C.

Chemical Induced Diseases: A major breakthrough in understanding the toxicological impact of multiple chemical exposures has been discovered at Texas Southwestern Medical School and the Duke University Medical Center . It is this new testing that holds promise for a better understanding of the impact of chemicals on health that has long been advocated by environmental activists, occupational health specialists, recipients of breast implants, those exposed to chlorinated hydrocarbons and sufferers of multiple chemical sensitivity.

According to research gathered by attorney , of the Law Firm in San , California, Dow Chemical and Dow Corning have been aware of the toxic effects of silicone and silica since the 1950s, based on their own studies, but never published the data. They knew these substances were bioreactive, immunogenic, toxic, and inflammatory when introduced into the human body, states . (Update on Breast Implants, January 1998, website: http://consumerlawpage.com.)

Silicone degrades into silica, usually at the surface of the gel implant, then fragments and subdivides into millions of microdroplets capable of migrating throughout the body (PSC Records No. 1352, 7017: these are documents produced by Dow Corning in national litigation). Silica in the body is a toxic, carcinogenic substance, damaging the immune system, killing cells, and producing silicosis.

Toxic effects of Silicone/Silica, Chemical/Solvents Induced Diseases. The implanted, injected, and offspring are suffering from a long list of diseases, disorders, and allergic reactions. Chemicals, heavy metals, silicone, ionized platinum, reaction to everyday chemicals and medications, hypersensitivity, suppressed natural killer cell activity, abnormal ACE level, Sclerosis, Scleroderma, Lupus, Sicca Syndrome, Organ Calcification, DNA Changes, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease/Overlap Syndrome, Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Immune Dysfunction, Autoimmune Disorder, Anemia, Neurological Disorders, Short Term Memory, M.S or Multiple Sclerosis-like syndrome, Polymyositis, Dermatomyositis, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Esophageal Dysmotility, Raynaud’s Phenomenon, Thyroid Disorder, Sleeping Spells, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Epstein Barr Virus, Fibromyalgia, Candida, Colitis or Bowel Irritability, Pulmonary Disease, Serositis, Renal Disorder, Hematological Disorder, Antinuclear Antibody, Myositis or Myopathy, Peripheral Neuropathy or Polyneuropathy, Serologic Abnormalities, Glomerulonephritis, Vasculitis, Listeria, neurotoxins and MSH levels, biotoxins from mold.

I will post more education in a couple separate emails

I suggest you print them out and keep them for future

Hi Ua3mom,

You're right about the difficulty in finding a doctor to admit the

connection between implants and illness. Most are unaware and have

little experience. My explanting surgeon faxed a letter to my

insurance company indicating removal was needed due to medical

necessity. Her name is Dr. Kolb in Atlanta. Fortunately the

insurance company approved it and paid over 90%.

As far as testing before explantation, there's really no way to prove

that the illness is related to the implants. The testing that occurs

after explant is more conclusive, plus the fact that many women's

symptoms disappear following explant. Good luck! - PH

There is no testing that will prove the implants cause disease. If

there were, none of us would be in this boat...the proof would exist

and doctors wouldn't treat us so rotten.

The only thing I know of in my case that got the insurance to pay was

a letter written by my doctor stating that the implants had caused my

Baker IV capsular contracture. HE did not state that they were saline

and he did not state how long I had them. He just stated that they

needed to come out based on the contracture.

I believe the insurance companies view capsular contracture as a

valid reason for removal, as it is painful and makes reading a

radiology report of the breasts very difficult.

Dearest Friend:

Have you had an MRI, or is that something that would not be covered? I am sorry that you are having so many problems. You have come to a wonderful group of compassionate women. I will stick my neck out, and tell you that it is your breast implants that are causing many of your health problems.

I had silicone breast implants in 1974, and my life changed immediately. Many of my symptoms were flu-like, and the list of symptoms would cover any symptom that you might be experiencing. What type of implant do you have, and do you have your implant medical records?

Honey, we can post many articles like the ones that our Dede has posted. You could do your own research; however, we have done years of research, and you will benefit from our experiences.

Sending love and support....Lea

Question regarding testing

Is there any type of testing that can be done before the implants are removed to 'prove' they are the cause? I've talked with one of the doctors on your implant removal list and they said if I can get one of my doctors to write to the insurance company stating a health reason to have my implants removed I can get the insurance company to cover part of the proceedure. This however is harder than I thought it would be since none of my doctors think the implants are the cause. As one put it ' that's impossible' I have never heard anything like that before'. I need to some how get one of them to write the letter, without it there is no way I can afford to have them removed. Some suggested selling somethings or moving in with family. I don't have anything left to sell. I'm just trying to make ends meet. I'm divorced w/ and ex that doesn't pay child support -still fighting on that one. I'm an adminstrative assistant so I don't make top dollar and have three kids to support. So if there is anything that someone can think of that I can get at least one of my doctors to write that letter I would appreciate it very much. Thanks

I now have a pace maker and unfortuantly can not have an MRI. I'm

learning more and more from everyone in this group, by their own

experiences. I just want these things out so I can be normal again.

Right now I'm struggling with being able to sit up or be active

everything and anything makes me so tired. I want to be the mom I

was before - for my children. I have missed out on so much with

them because of a sickness doctors can't seem to figure out.

Thank you for all your help!! Jen

Oh, Honey, I am so sorry that you had to have a pacemaker. Our darling Dede has a pacemaker, and she is waiting to be explanted. Many women, including me, have had heart problems, but they seem to get better after explant. My heart was enlarged on both sides with a stiffening of the left ventricle. Today, my heart is better, and my respiratory problems are nearly gone. I was explanted in 1992, and then in 1993 the plastic surgeon tried to remove the capsules.

The women in this group will help you to make sure that you are cleaned out thoroughly. We have many wonderful plastic surgeons who will do the correct surgery. Please stay close to us, and we will all give you plenty of love and support. You can write to me privately if you need extra support.

Sending love and hope to you......Lea

I'm actually on my 2nd pacemaker in 3 1/2 years. I see Dr. Blair

Grubb in Toledo Ohio for all the other health problems no one can

see to figure out. He has been wonderful and supportive. I did

learn a lesson, don't see anyone in Dr. Grubbs group! Only see him!!

After you meet with him then you can start to see his assistant

Beverly. After seeing other doctors in his office with no

improvement I finally said I wanted him directly, he is difficult to

get in with because he has people from all over the world coming to

see him. Any way he spend 3 1/2 hours with me trying to explain to

me what is going on and he truly has a wonderful bedside manner. He

diagnosed me with Dysautonomias this past year and that is one of

the reasons why I received a new pacemaker. This new one monitors

my blood pressure as well, since my blood pools in my legs and cause

me to have really low blood pressure amongest other issues. I have

tried every drug out there, He recently put me on Cymbalta and it

seems to help, but not really (if that makes sense). The only other

drug out there to help me that I haven't tried is a new drug that

helps Astronauts stay awake while in space. Any way here is the

website for Dysautomomias http://www.ndrf.org/NDRFHandbook.htm

Hi Jen- I just wanted to let you know that all of us can relate and

are here for you. I had my implants removed 2 months ago and am

already seeing significant improvements. I was a wreck a few months

ago....could barely get out of bed, barely even get to the grocery

store, no energy at all! It does get better once the implants are

gone. My doctors couldn't figure out my illness either. But, I have

hope that one day when an implanted woman walks into her doctor's

office, the doctor will know exactly what is wrong and what to do.

We'll get there, in the meantime, we are here for each other.

Love, Krista

Ua3mom,

Nobody can argue with you when you say your implants are causing you pain . . .

If you have contracture, that would be one reason for pain.

You won't get doctors to admit to the other problems . . .unless they want to spend the rest of their life trying to prove it in court.

Hugs,

Rogene

Good morning Dear Mom:

We have not heard from you, and that is a worry. My husband and I had to sell our big home because of my health. I might have missed some of your notes, and I would love to know how you are doing.

Please drop me a note when you have some time, and I hope that things have improved in your life.

Sending love and support........Lea
