Hi Dede,

I have a lidocaine and nystatin mix, but it was apparently not

enough, so now I have mycelex troches to dissolve in my mouth. If

that fails, I have some diflucan.

It is better down my throat, but I still have mouth sores. I must

get a better handle on this for next month.

I hope your dad is doing well.

My sister from Hawaii is coming to stay with me for a couple of

months to help me with dealing with all of this.

I am sorry your mouth is so sore, but glad

the throat area is not so bad. This is great

news that your sister is coming ! ! I am sure

this is very comforting to you !

Dad is starting to feel better, as of today.

He wont be having any chemo for awhile. They

are gonna just monitor him for now. He is happy

about that. He will be able to engage in life again

for awhile. This is what makes him happy. Hanging

with me, he has enjoyed somewhat, but he is ready

to be active and enjoy life again.
