This program is often used for kids with Specific Learning Disabilities and usually with kids who are verbal. Check out their website to see if they might be appropriate. Below is a bit of information.

Welcome to mood-Bell Learning Processes.

Founded in 1986 by mood and Nanci Bell, mood-Bell is dedicated to enhancing human learning. Our founders are the authors of critically acclaimed programs that teach children and adults to read, spell, comprehend, think critically, and express language.

I am posting this question for a friend. He is not autism spectrum. He non verbal, acadenically delayed about 1 yr and has reading comprehension. She is considering the Lnda Mood Belle program and would like some feed back from a parent who has had experience using them. If you have any information, comments or other please resond. If you have suggestions for any other programs she would really appreciate the info.

Thanks.

Hi,

Look at www.lindamoodbelle.com and you'll see a variety of programs that can help reading comprehension. You should ask the reading specialist and the autism coach at your school if they have any of the programs and what they think about it. All the broward clusters have the "Talkies", by the way, but if he reads already he might have outgrown this program. If you decide to buy it they may be interested at school too.
