Guest guest
FYI, Re. getting your medical records and lab results. I am able to sign a release with my lab, when having my blood drawn, so that I can get the results directly from the lab by phone. This has allowed me to adjust my dose immediately rather than wait for the MD appt. I am also beginning to believe that after awhile, one can begin to adjust their meds without the lab work, if they are really attuned to their body and symptoms. I am working on this, though I feel more comfortable having the labwork to confirm my suspicions of hyper or hypo. Mid America Clinical Labs is the lab I work with. I bet other labs do the same if you ask. I wonder what percentage of us end up adjusting our own meds. It would be an interesting poll. Oh, to be able to test your own thyroid levels, like a diabetic does with his/her blood sugar. Lois
