Good morning Ladies,

Two ladies tried to give me intervenice and

they both missed inserting the needles.

When the first needle went in

I was ok till each woman went

digging her way through my wrists.

Lord did that hurt !

She turned it over to other woman.

Yikes she did the exact same thing on my other wrist.

I have had plenty IV in my day with no problems.

Than they both tried to blame me for moving.

So they scurried off to get the anestisteologist and

told him to take over, because I wouldn't hold still.

The anestiologist came in treating me like a baby

By the time he arrived I was scared to death.

The anestiologist than numbed me and

administred my IV with ease.. Wha La.

They all told me I would be in pain after surgery

and wanted to give me perkiset and other stuff.

I asked will my surgery be worse than labor ????

They all said no but it is a different kind of pain

Well anyway I declined all their offers.

I was told after surgery they had to give me more

anestisia than the usual dosage.

My surgery started at 2:30 PM

I could not eat after 12:00 AM

Guilty as Charged..

I wolfed down a hoagie late last night

The only thing that bothered me at all was

the feeling of being doped up all night long.

I am not sure how my knees or body feels

Will let you all know.

PS..

I have the screw, it looks brand new

PSS.

Going up the steps is a breeze

That's not what I was told

Sandy,I'm going to add your tips to our list! Thank you! Best wishes on your surgery to remove that screw in your foot. I think that is a wise choice! I'm praying for healing for you!Patty
