Guest guest
Hi , If you had asked me this question over the last 5 years, I would have said I was healthy and didn't have any health problems due to implants. The whole thing is an illusion. Implants impact our health but many of us don't realize it until we become incapacitated...for some that's a short period of time and for others it happens immediately. Women who seem healthy have no idea that their shells are degrading and that their bodies are fighting off an enormous chemical load...I certainly didn't. I think genetics play a role as well as stress, level of other toxins were exposed to, manufacturing defects...all sorts of things. Krista and I were looking on a pro-implant forum and there were women on there complaining of thyroid, POCS and rhuematoid arthristis. One woman had a son with Kawasaki Autoimmune Disease. Yet, these women didn't feel their symptoms were at all related to implants...in fact they denied it fully. So I think there are many many ill women out there who just don't know it or don't want to accept it. You also have doctors contributing to it by saying there's no connection. So there are a lot of sick implanted women out there who take drugs for this and that without addressing the root cause. Love, PH > > So many, many women are getting implants. Its like an epidemic. Guest guest
, Actually I think there are alot of us who are sick, we just don't know the numbers - I wish the FDA actually published that kind of data based on the MedWatch forms that they get - but we know they're part of the problem so they're not going to try to fix it. There are also alot of women who get sick from implants who never make the connection, or who don't want to make the connection. If only VALID studies were done, or if studies were done on those who got sick vs. those who didn't, we'd have an answer. It would at least be nice to have to test performed before getting implants to determine if your body could tolerate them or not, that would certainly alot of people from illness, financial loss and emotional trauma. Guest guest
- That is a great question, a question I've asked myself many times... " why me?! " Why are there so many women out there who are perfectly happy with their implants, no health problems, just bouncing around with their boobs happy as they can be. But, the more research I did, the more I found that this is simply not true. PH is right. We were on the " pr-implant " forum for only a couple days, and we were simply amazed at the number of women who claimed they had an autoimmune disorder, or other illnesses...dizziness, " brain fog, " etc. It amazed us how none of these women would accept that it was their implants causing them to be ill. Some of them, I think just haven't made the connection yet because their doctor's haven't, some of them refuse to believe it is the implants because for some of them living with the illness and keeping the implants is better then taking the implants out and the thought that maybe they won't get better. Do you see what I'm getting at? For all of us, it took many months to find the courage to take the implants out, because we loved our boobs and had no idea if taking them out would improve our health. At this point, it is a gamble. Like I've said on this forum before, my friends and family have implants. My Mom has terrible arthritis, foot pain, panic and anxiety attacks, random pains, etc. But, I don't think she's ever attributed her problems to her implants. My sister has chronic fatigue, anxiety and panic attacks, she takes more supplements in one day then I do! I called up one of my girlfriends on Friday at 4:00 and she was asleep in her car!! She was exhausted! Another one of my friends hasn't been able to shake a cold for 6 months! See what I mean?? I honestly think the implants cause everyone's immune systems to malfunction. For some people, it happens right away, some people take a few months or years, some even more years. It's all dependent on one's immune system. How they deal with the toxins, chemicals, etc. You also have to remember that there isn't just one way that implants can make you sick. In doing my research, I found nearly 20 ways that breast implants can cause health problems. Every woman is so different in the way her body responds to foreign objects and chemicals. If you already have health problems and you get implants then you are much more likely to have problems with them. The body can only handle so much stress before it " breaks. " Our bodies are like well-oiled machines, if you throw a wrench in there...the body WILL react. I can guarantee you that 10 years from now women and the world will be looking at breast implants very differently. Be thankful you found out when you did. Guest guest
Hello Krista ~ I am way behind on posts too, but it is what it is.... I cant go any faster, lololol..... Was very busy with my sisters here, and Dad with his chemo, it has slowed down now that they are gone, boo hoo I miss them already. I am still worn out from their visit, but well worth it tho. I cant wait to see yalls sites......It will be great when they are up and running. I bet that was fun, partying and dancing. Rest best you can now. Catch up a bit. Do you meditate? When I was working, I used to meditate at lunch until I learned to do a 15-20 min nap. Girl that did wonders for my stress level ! It helps to manage your energy. I also did one when I got home from work which helped me relax for my evening. My rheumy wanted me to do it 3 times a day, but that was impossible. Doc didnt give us breaks, only lunch and not always that..... I hope your days of feeling better get longer, and the stressful ones shorter, keep us posted on the site ! Have a lovely day girl, and rest best you can ! You are in my prayers, God Bless YOU ~ Love DedeWho's never won? Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music. Guest guest
Hi Dede- Sorry, I just now found this post from you. I'm waaaay behind on reading the posts. I'm doing " okay " .....not great, not horrible. I'm still having good and bad days depending on how much stress I have, how much is going on and if I'm over-doing it. I had a very busy end to my last week, busy weekend and lots of stress from work and my Mom. I'm hanging in there though. My hubby is taking me to Vegas this weekend, which I am looking forward to. I plan to just do a lot of much needed relaxing! I went to a friend's 30th birthday party this past weekend and I definitley over-did it! We danced for 3 hours straight and I am so sore, achy and fatigued today. It's going to be a tough week! Thanks for asking about me, Dede. How are you doing? I miss you too! Our website is done, we are just waiting for Beth and her hubby to be able to get it all up. Hopefully we will be able to post soon that it is up and running! I'm so excited for it! Guest guest
i wonder what dose you started on. especially people who are sensitive should start on a very low dose and slowly work up dose. i'm feeling very better on cat's slaw and knotweet. ~dory 1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. - NKJV " It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible " Washington. From: Deb57 <ds@...> Subject: [ ] general question Date: Sunday, January 16, 2011, 9:35 AM  I have been following this group for some time but have not tried the protocol since my first attempt with Japanese knotweed (Resveratrol by Source Naturals) which did not go well - terrible abdominal pain. Not even sure whether this was the correct form of knotweed. I then tried Cat's Claw once and had an equally bad time of it. I am doing other protocols but always considering this in the back of my mind. Do most people see an improvement or just some, because others like me may not be able to tolerate it? deb
