Guest guest
Marie, Dont make the mistake that I did. I never did it right the way the girls said and it has delayed my health in getting better . I had to go through another surgery to have it dont right so I could get better. I know this is confusing but you need a doctor to make sure its done properly like en bloc and capsulectomy or you can not do it and NEVER get your health back. I am a testimony to this. I got the implants out after having them for 6 months and did many detoxes and never got any better. NOw 6 weeks ago I had the surgery of getting the capsules out and now I see improvements of my health returning to me. Thank God !!! Listen to the girls here and they will guide you. I told him about my symptoms (numbness in the hands, electric sensations), but he said that it could not be related to my implants. He suggested me to go see a doctor in neurology. I told him that I was thinking of getting my implants out if nothing was back to normal after a while and asked if he's peforming the "en bloc" procedure. He told me that I didn't need "en bloc" because I don't have a hard capsule around my implants. He told me that the cicatricial capsule will resolve in my body and that nothing is dangerous about that. The procedure he suggested is a local anesthesia and that he would only do a cut under my breasts to get my implants out. I am kind of confused now. I thought the "en bloc" procedure was the best thing to do no matter what. It seemd that this doctor only uses this procedure in rare occasions. I would like to have your opinion about this. Thanks,Marie Planning your summer road trip? Check out AOL Travel Guides.
Guest guest
Marie,Don't let this jerk confuse you . . . He's obviously one of the more stupid doctors out there. . . .That's why we have a recommended doctor list.Quite a few women have had their implants removed like this . . . they've gotten sicker and required more $urgery.Hugs,Rogene
Guest guest
I am sure these ladies will have lots of help to give ya. It CAN be related to your implants - as it was with all of us. En bloc is necessary to take out the hard part around your implant that is holding all the bad stuff in. If they break it, the bad stuff gets in the rest of your body. I didnt get mine en bloc and I had to get a 3rd surgery - so dont take no for an answer like i did. You def. need to be put under.. everyone here will tell you to run and find another surgeon!! I hope you find someone to help you. Love Gretchen > > Hi, > > I got my first consult with a surgeon today. Guest guest
This is exactly the type of doctor we try to keep our women away from, as they have " bought' the official line that implants are safe. Please continue to find a surgeon who knows your implants can make you ill. Lynda At 05:18 PM 4/8/2008, you wrote: >Hi, > >I got my first consult with a surgeon today. Guest guest
Marie- GO TO A DIFFERENT SURGEON! That's all I can say to. So many women have gone to the wrong surgeon for explant and had to go back for another surgery to have their capsules taken out. Don't put yourself through that if you don't have to. Please!! This surgeon obviously does not have a lot of experience in removing implants. Run! Find someone else! ~Krista > > Hi, > > I got my first consult with a surgeon today. Guest guest
Marie, You'll find that there are VERY FEW plastic surgeons that will ever admit that your symptoms are implant related. I've wasted yrs & tons of time, pain & money going to every specialist there is still to have no answers to symtpoms in every body system. The implants are poisin in our bodies & cause all kinds of strange symptoms. Don't buy their line!! The implants need to come out en bloc(as a whole) w/ capsule too! During my replacement, the surgeon broke my implants in my chest while removing them: I ended up w/MRSA (took 4 mo. to get rid of), then lost my hair, the weight & 2 yrs later one ruptured! I have to have mine out under local b/c of my compromised lung function; eiyhrt way, just make sure the capsules are removed also & that drains are used post-op. If you can't travel or afford one of the dr.s on the list here, just make sure the dr. you do use is going to do the procedure the right way; it will be crucial to your healing & detoxing all these chemicals out of your body. I wish you well on your pathway to health! Hugs, Cheryl Hi, I got my first consult with a surgeon today.
