Guest guest
While we're on the subject of cup feeding (been there - nogo!), does anyone have any good suggestions on getting a baby to take a bottle? I've repeatedly expressed breastmilk for others to give Cameron in a bottle but he just won't take it. We've tried all different types of teats but he just holds it in his mouth like as if he doesn't know what to do with it. He did take a few bottles when he was a couple of weeks old so he CAN do it, just not now. I'm getting desperate as I need to leave him in about 3 weeks time. Any suggestions would be VERY gratefully received!Oh, almost forgot, typical me. Thanks for all the advice on mastitis. We muddled through and managed to keep off the antibiotics although it was very sore for a while. One thing though, despite all the extra feeding and expressing my milk seems to have dropped a lot. Cameron is always crying and hungry like as if he can't get enough milk. Or maybe he's going through a growth spurt? He's 14 weeks tomorrow so maybe that's what it is.
