Guest guest
Rogene- Yeah, it totally sucks that Newsweek did an article on breast implants. But the thing is....I don't think the article is going to persuade any women into getting implants. If someone is going to get implants, then they've already made their minds up that they are going to get them. They are either waiting until they have enough money, they are done having children, they are old enough, they get up the nerve to do it, they lose weight, etc. At this point, articles aren't going to make someone go " hey, that sounds like a good idea, I think I'll do it. " I feel the only thing we can do is continue to educate and get the word out there. There are always going to be articles written about implants and the media will always have something to say. Now this is what makes me mad: http://www.breastimplantsafety.org/ Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr................. ~Krista > > http://www.newsweek.com/id/129846/page/1 > > I'm seething right now . . . I just read this (supposedly) new article about breast implants. The authors appear to have gotten their information from the plastic surgery industry. > > Because Newsweek is widely read, I fear this article will trigger thousands of women to get breast implants! . . . > > Please do whatever you can to educate these authors. . . . > > I've sent the entire list of links from Krista's website to the authors and challenged them to educate themselves. . . > > Can you think of anything else to do? . . .
