Lynda, your granddaughters are adorable. I bet they will recognize you, because you are unforgettable. They will be good medicine for you, and to be able to see your son again sounds exciting. Please do not allow them to wear you down. Children can be very demanding, especially with their grandmas.

I wish that my daughter would come back to me, because I miss them so much. She is stubborn and very proud, and this could be a problem for her. She is having a problem, because she just does not know how to come back into our lives. We might have to make the first move, but we are not sure how to approach her either. This is a stand off, because we are afraid of each other....this is all so silly, but sad.

Back to bed, and my leg is getting better. The swelling is slowly going down.

Good luck, honey, and stay positive...love you so...Lea and

Lynday,How exciting! Those kids should take your mind off everything else! . . . I'd love to be able to hold and cuddle a baby . . . as long as I don't have to raise it!Hugs,Rogene

a,

They are adorable, aren't they?

I hope to get to see them toward the end of the month. I am still

too fatigued and somewhat ill from the chemo to drive 5 hours (one

way) to get to them. My son plans to bring them over for an

overnight visit toward the end of the month.

I am doing ok, I think the reduction in dosage may have helped. My

fingers are peeling, hope that is not a bad sign of the hand-foot

syndrome. It is weird, as it has never happened before. I did have

a bit of peeling later on in the first chemo on both bottom of feet

and toes and fingers. Did not look like it does this time,

however. I think i am eating better this time. It seems every month

the reaction is different.
