Guest guest
Hi Ladies~ I was talking to an 18 year old girltoday who works where I work. I don't know her too well because she was hired when I was so very, very ill and not working. Anyway.....today at work she told me she has been to 3 different PS for consultations for BA. She wanted to talk to me today about my experience with breast implants. Boy did I have alot to tell her!! She was very sweet and thankful for the information I gave to her. She is going to do some research as I advised. She told me something I thought some of you might find interesting!! Apparantly, they told her there are rules about not implanting the silicone implants into someone as young as her. But......she said that all 3 of these PS told her they would do silicone implants on her and just would not report the correct information. Isn't it just so nice they are all so honest??????????????? They seem to want to live by their own rules which are definetely driven by how much money they can make. Her main concern about implants was whether or not they could affect her future children. I told her about Shari Halverson's story and how sick her little boy was. I told her Shari recently posted and told us that one of the papules on her son's body was biopsied and tested positive for mold and silicone. This really seemed to scare her!!! Hopefully she won't get implants. I hope she listens. Love, a
Guest guest
a, Will you forward this info to Zuckerman <dz@...>?She has some connections at the FDA . . . This is proof the doctors are violating the FDA guidelines! I could forward it, but she may want to talk to you. Thanks,Rogene

Guest guest
a- Yeah, unfortunately this kind of stuff goes on all the time. My PS told me (before silicone implants were approved again) that he would give them to me and just report that it was to fix a deformity. At the time (this was in 2005 or so,) silicone implants were only approved for cancer patients and to fix deformities. I was neither of those (just wanted the boobs,) and he offered them to me anyway. Sad huh? Plastic surgeons will do anything to make a couple extra dollars. I think they figure if they're going to drop implants into a woman, they might as well get the most money for their time, and silicone implants are more expensive. It is all about greed. They don't care who they are hurting. I hope your co-worker decides against them. I've talked many girls out of them just by getting my story out there. I know this isn't enough, but this is all we can do for now. Be sure to tell your co- worker about my site, it has so great info on how women can become ill, lots of down-sides to implatns (including info on un-born children,) and links to lots of stories and research.
