Guest guest
Sue, I had this with my capsules in but I havent had that since my capsules were taking out. I just have heart palps. I think this was due to the thyroid not working properly. And from time to time I have a racing heart. This is no fun !! Did you have your thyroid tested properly ? I take melantonin for sleep so I try not to wake up to things like that . Its natural from the health food store I take 3 mg. Hope you figure this out !! Its really scary, I have had my heart checked so many times and its always normal….ecgs for 48hrs to one week. The thing this time though my breathing was weird. Any ideas Sue It's Tax Time! I wasn't feeling well. Then I heard a radio bit about how Melatonin, taken long term, can lead to a general malaise. . . which I had . .. As soon as I quit taking it, it went away.I'd recommend taking breaks from it, or using it only occasionally .. Rogene
Guest guest
Sue . . . I hate to hear you're still having problems . . I would definitely get your adrenal function checked out . . . Very important! Most of the things we recommend, diet, etc., can take some stress off the adrenals . . but you really need to address them specifically if everything else is to function properly. On a personal note . . . How are your sons doing? . . . I recently realized some of the SiliconeKids have been exhibiting Autistic-like behaviors . . . Did your sons ever do that? . . . Guest guest
Sweet Sue: We saw a program, that was called medical mysteries, and they talked a bit about some of your symptoms. Have you been tested for Cardio Myopathy, because it is an infection in the heart? One of the symptoms is a racing heart; however, many of us have had a racing heart. I would never want to frighten you, but it should be checked. I know that if my racing heart were to wake me, I would be frightened too. Honey, I worry about you, because you have had these symptoms for so long. Please take care, and know that we all love you....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```` could this be adrenals I had another episode of fast heart beat again last night. Guest guest
Sue, Are you taking magnesium? I had the same problem w/heart palps until my natural MD put me on magnesium malate. After taking it, the palps stopped! I only get one maybe once every 6 wks or so now. I was amazed that something so simple worked like that! If you're not taking any, it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. If you're taking some now, maybe you could increase your dose. You just take it to " bowel tolerance " - meaning take increasing amounts until it gives you loose stools, then back off a bit on the dose. It is best to divide the dose throughout the day. And definitely take part of that dose before bed b/c it helps you relax. Hope this helps! April
Guest guest
Sue, definitely wouldn't hurt. I had my checked 2 years ago and it was fine but now I am on meds for it and it wasn't fine. Go to the right DR. for the thyroid and check free T3 and T4 and check both antibodies too. Love In a message dated 4/16/2008 11:24:55 A.M. Guest guest
Malaise is a feeling of general discomfort or uneasiness, an "out of sorts" feeling, often the first indication of an infection or other disease. Often defined in medicinal research as a "general feeling of being unwell". Colloquially, malaise has been referred to as "the creeping crud" (especially in reference to the malaise caused by communicable diseases such as influenza and the common cold). This usage may have originated in folk medicine, but it is adopted from the French word meaning "discomfort," "feeling faint," "feeling sick." The "winter malaise" is another rendition of the term. This is described as feeling run down, depleted, fatigued, "out of sorts", depressed, or a combination of all the aforementioned symptoms. Unlike the colloquial term, the winter malaise is generally not associated with the oncoming of any particular illness. It is the culmination of the body adjusting to cold winter conditions and a possible depressing atmosphere due to either being forced inside due to the cold, or forced into a mundane daily routine because of the winter conditions. It is important to understand the difference between a winter malaise and depression in order to be treated properly for any of the symptoms that are exhibited.----- Forwarded Message ----From: "shellyjo1021@..." <shellyjo1021@...> Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2008 7:25:18 PMSubject: Re: could this be adrenals Rogene What is general malaise ? and its systoms ?
