Guest guest
There are two kinds of thyroid antibodies. There is the Anti-TPO, or anti-thyroid peroxidase. There is also anti-thyroglobulin. Either one of these will indicate a state of autoimmunity, or Hashimoto's. In our links section there is a folder called " Thyroid " . In that folder is a link to a conversion chart, so you can see how much Armour equals Synthroid and other meds. Actually 15 mg of Armour is a very small amount. I take two 60 mg tabs of Armour in the morning and if I remember, one 60 mg tab in the afternoon, for a total of 180 mg a day. Compared to 15 mg, I am on huge amounts! But, I've worked my way up to it too. I have no symptoms of hyperthyroidism on this dose. YOu will know when you've reached the right dose, as you will have no more symptoms. I will post dosing guidelines that I found on the stopthethyroidmadness group.
