Guest guest
Hey Krista, You've done a good job, you've been a brave soldier! It's time to lay down your arms and take a well deserved rest from the battle. The fighting is fierce on these blogs, isn't it? I used to write and get involved in these battles too, and found that they sapped my energy so bad that I had to just " let the battle be the Lord's. " I step in at times when I feel I can do some damage, but the best way I found I could participate was to get in, say my peace, and then let the others hash it out. We did our share of battling on this group years ago, and I found that at times I had to get rid of the rabblerousers--that was the only way to make it succeed. And we've been peaceful ever since. God has this group in His hands, that I know. When you feel up to the fighting again someday, you can go back and take up your war of words, but for now, just get some support and comfort from being around us, your sisters...we know the hard road that you travel more than anyone else out there. The others are just too blinded, sadly. They are to be pitied. Patty > > Hey Ladies- I just quickly wanted to let everyone know (for anyone who > might be interested.) Guest guest
Patty- I know you're right. I guess I'm just one of those people that has a hard time sitting back and letting these girls say incorrect statements that I know are absolutely false. I felt the need to stick up for (the one who wrote the blog) because they were saying such mean things to her. Then, they started making incorrect statements, and I wanted to set the record straight. Before I knew it, they were attacking me all over the place. I wanted to stop posting after I said my peace, but I kept wanting to set the record straight. I stopped posting for awhile. Then some other girl posted to me about us being sick because we chose the wrong surgeon, well that was enough for me. The statement was so ludicrous…I couldn't even respond. I told PH the other day that I need to learn to pick my battles better, or these women will just zap my energy. I can't imagine this type of thing went on this group…that shocks me!! But, of course I was surprised to see that this was happening on the B & TB blog too. I think I've learned that there are better ways I can use my energy then trying to get through to a bunch of close-minded, insensitive, mean, scared women. ~Krista > > > > Hey Ladies- I just quickly wanted to let everyone know (for anyone who > > might be interested.) Guest guest
Krista, Your fighting spirit is admirable! We need that in this issue! Just don't let those other people take from you more than you can spare to give. We work best one on one, remember. We will save women the agony of what we went through by just sharing out testimony from the heart. That's the " better way " to spend our energy. I took a few minutes this morning to post my thoughts at B & TB..just thought I would let you know. Take care of yourself and this week, focus your eyes on Jesus...who for the JOY set before him, endured the cross. That JOY was US! Isn't He so amazing, you could just cry? Amazing grace, how sweet the sound.... Hugs, Patty > > > > > > Hey Ladies- I just quickly wanted to let everyone know (for > anyone who > > > might be interested.) Guest guest
Rogene- I didn't even think about that! I bet you are right though...they left them there for a reason. The comments sure did make those girls look like a bunch of dummies, didn't they?! All of the rest of us posting were just trying to educate and were calm, cool and collected (IMHO :-) ) The other girls were just being plain mean! I'm sure and Sybil have learned not to take stuff personally (you'd have to!) I'm still learning that...thank goodness I have all of you to keep reminding me that! I can't imagine myself not continuing to find ways to educate, but in the future I won't take anything personally, keep to the facts (which I did,) and learn to laugh over the really terrible comments (which I finally did in the end. :-) ) ~Krista > > Krista, > > Know that the blog is closely monitored . . . Guest guest
Patty- I didn't see your posts show up yet. You're right....Jesus is the only one who is going to save us from this mess! He must be really upset with the human race right now...wrecking his perfect creations, paying money to have ourselves cut open to have plastic bags sewn into our chests. I can't imagine he's too happy right now. ~Krista > > > > > > > > Hey Ladies- I just quickly wanted to let everyone know (for > > anyone who > > > > might be interested.)
