Guest guest
I have toured several Kindergarten Clusters in preparation for my son's transition. I am amazed at the disparity among the different schools that I visited. Even in my initial phone calls to set up my appointments I got different answers to the same questions. Why is there no standard. The Broward County School System apparently does not have any kind of checks and balances in place to monitor these programs. Is there no committee in place to assure that the additional funds that these cluster sites receive are being put to good use? I saw classrooms in the clusters with no care taken to provide a proper educational setting which contrasted greatly with the typical classrooms. I fortunately did have some positive experiences out there. There are good programs and good people who are working hard to provide the best education and environment for our children. But how can we let this inequality continue among these programs?
