Good for your husband, some rest and relaxation will be great for you! My hubby is taking me to Vegas this weekend for some R & R, I'm very excited! It's supposed to be 70 degrees while we are there, much different then the 10 degrees in Denver right now! I'm actually doing pretty good.....MUCH better then I was last year! I still get fatigued and achy if I'm not careful, but it's not nearly as bad as it was last year. Yes, I was taking a digestive enzyme called " ultrazyme. " It was really great! I don't take it anymore because I am on a program recommended by my ND, which has been great for my digestive system. But, the ultrazyme worked great too! And you'll feel like yourself again. Right now, it takes dedication to getting better - and patience. Lots of it! Try to put your stress into something positive so your body has the energy to heal itself. It's easier said than done - but it works! That doesn't mean you won't find a surgeon in your area. What you need to ask about is if a surgeon removes implants "en bloc" (preferrably), or does a complete capsulectomy. . . . If a doctor tells you the capsules don't need to come out, or that you'll be deformed without implants, RUN! . . . He/she is describing their own lack of expertise! A good doctor will also use drains and keep them in as long as their is significant drainage. . . . This avoids fluids from accumulating that can be painful and may require further treatment. In December of 06 my health took a dive. Swollen joints, hyperpigmentation on my face, toe pain, hip pain, memory issues, brain fog, hair loss, and many more issues. My doctors told me I had Rheumatoid Arthritis, then they said nope - not that. Then they said Lupus - then, nope - not that. Then it was some auto-immune issue and I was prescribed naproxsyn for the inflammation. Some doctors thought I just had anxiety and gave me those meds too. I went from a VERY active, 4.0 college student to thinking I would be disabled within a few months! Doctors would tell me my implants were safe and couldn't be causing these issues. Primary doctors, Rheumies, Endocrine docs - all of them. So I googled implant illness and found this group. I have been explanted since 4/07. I am getting better each day but I still have a high ANA. My sed rate was normal. Please read through the links and files. You'll find so many women who have implants and are suffering with the same thing you and I are. It is bittersweet to know you are not alone but sad to know anybody has to go through this miserable illness that doctor's won't confirm at all! I suspected it was my implants though. I thought why is my immune system turning against itself? First thing that came to my mind was my implants. I started googling and was SHOCKED to see how many women were sick. It is so sad! I felt so ashamed. How could I do this to myself? How vain was I? But we were all lied to. They are not safe!! I go to a health center every week that has the infrared sauna. It's so relaxing and nice to go to when it's cold outside! I'll try to find that digestive enzyme at a health food store.
