Guest guest
Reguardless of what type of substance is inside your implants, the outter shell is made of silicone. Your body degrades this and flecks of it flow thru your body. The scar caps that encapsulate the implants will be inbedded with this, and will also be imbedded with bacteria and fungal organisms. If you leave this inside of you, then you will continue to be ill, and get worse over time. see these implants?? nasty, huh? Below is a scar cap, I left it big so you can see why it needs to be removed from your body...... I hope this helps you ! ! Hugs, Prayers and lots of hope ! ! DedeWho's never won? Guest guest
To seeking the truth about implants, Hi my name is and I left my capsules in .....not to smart of me I may add. I have took the implants out 3 years ago because I became very ill from them ...Now I have to face another surgery to get the capsules out because I am still sick from the capsules being in me. I have faithfully did detoxes twice a month at least. I had to get my body to absorb nutrition before I could come back to the girls here......there was no way I could walk or talk or even hold my head up..........it was a nightmare. So dont be like me and believe a doctor who dont want to admit truth or has no knowledge of his job should be. I though doctors had knowledge to put them in then they have the knowledge to take them out ......WRONG...most of them are ignorant. I could have saved myself grief and pain but I took the long way back. I am slowly recovering but I have to have another surgery for capsulectomy and then I have to recover once more and start detoxing my body which is not easy by the way. Guest guest
Stottlemeyer, I sent your message to the wrong person, but I contacted you telling you that the doctors lied to you. Just like they did me but they took mine out for free. HUMMMM! I was very sick and I faithfully do detoxes twice a month. Now I have to go thru another surgery just to get better. I have been fighting and hanging on for 3 years. Dont make my mistakes because that's a very longggggggggggggggggg ROAD. You definitely want the capsules out because its also got the toxins in it and it just keep reproducing bad chemicals and yeast that you have to fight everyday and that is NO fun at all. Try not being able to eat for 3 years and having to juice to get your nutrition in order to live. Please just listen.......... us girls know what we are talking about. YOu will need a capsulectomy.......We want to see you get better. Love ya In a message dated 2/7/2008 4:38:38 P.M. Guest guest
DD.The doctor is wrong . . . or lazy . . . Both gel and saline have a silicone shell! . . . Silicone is NOT inert! It takes a lot more time to remove implants properly. . . Dr. Kolb has spent as long as ten hours removing some of our women's implants and capsules.Doctors like to say that getting ones implants out, will not help a woman get well, because implants aren't causing the problem . .. Then they leave the capsules behind to prove the point! Virtually all the women who haven't gotten better after explant found the capsules were left behind . . . They have to get further surgery before they can start healing.Check our archives for Dr. Blair's explanation of why capsules must come out . .. regardless of whether they are saline or gel implants.Hugs,Rogene
Guest guest
No, you need EN BLOC removal, very important! It will do the same thing, which is make sure that all of the scar tissue is removed! Guest guest
First of all, the saline implant does not have an INERT silicone covering. It has a very inflammatory and an immune system-harming silicone covering, just like silicone gel. The rubber shell of a saline implant and a silicone gel implant are exactly the same thing. Both very capable of causing human adjuvant disease! Here's the way it goes: If you have saline implants, you need a total capsulectomy at the least, but an en bloc removal if possible. If you have silicone gel implants, you need an en bloc removal, no compromise. The goal is to keep your body from being contaminated by any of the contents of the implant, or from the fluid contained in the scar tissue should the implant rupture. Guest guest
A capsulectomy is needed with every implant, not just saline. The reason is because once you have implants in your body, your immune system will cause a scar capsule to form around the implant to wall it off from the rest of the body. This scar capsule, being in contact with the implant itself, can harbor bacteria, silicone degradation products and oils, and other pathogens that have formed on the surface of the implants and been incorporated into the scar capsule. If you take out the implants, but leave that scar tissue with any of those infectious agents or degradation products behind, your body is STILL going to be in fighting mode. Most doctors are clueless about this aspect of explant and that is why women remain ill when they have an improper explant. Guest guest
Wooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ! You got the wrong girl here! Seeking the truth about implants (me, Krista) knows the truth! I had my implants removed by Dr. Huang 3 months ago (full capsulectomy, en bloc, the whole works!) I am responding to someone else (not sure what the name is, because she has given it, but her screen name is Stottlemyer,) regarding removing capsules. I even used you as a reference, telling her that on this group did not have the capsulectomy and now has to go back fro another surgery. Trust me, girl.....I KNOW the truth!!! Whew, you scared me there for a sec! ~Krista > > To seeking the truth about implants, > Hi my name is and I left my capsules in .....not to smart of me I may > add. Guest guest
The surgeons we recommend most frequently can tell you if you'll need a lift if you'll just send some pictures in advance. It does affect how much your explant will cost. I had a lift when my implants were removed. . . The result was better than either before, or with implants. . . What I should have gotten in the first place. You are soooooooo fortunate to have a supportive family! . . . It makes a huge difference. . . Give them all a hug for us . . . and tell them to give you one for us! Hugs, Rogene Re: Re: i have a question i am just scared with all that has been going on this week. i agree, after hearing what all of you have or are going thru, that a capsulectomy is the best and only choice. have any of you needed the breast lift? i feel like this is all so surreal, i can't believe all that i have found out this week, it is a lot to take in. i am glad that i have a very supportive husband and family. Guest guest
HI Krista, I makes me wonder how most doctors can believe that these are safe when the body forms capules to protect the itself. Dont these doctors ask somewhere in their 8 years of med school, if their safe why do we need protection capseules? Guess it all goes back to money. > > > > can you explain why you needed the capsulectomy with the saline > implants? > > > > > > In a message dated 2/7/2008 4:35:19 P.M. Guest guest
- I know....it kinda makes you go " duh " doesn't it? I knew prior to getting implants about the capsule, just kinda blew it off though. Now, I think....what the heck was I thinking, obviously if the body has to protect itself from something, then that something surely isn't the safe! It made me go " duh. " I guess we all wanted the boobies so damn bad, we didn't care. The plastic surgeons sure sweep that one under the rug, don't they? My regular MD is now on board with breast implant illness. She watched me go through the whole thing, and knows now that the implants are the only thing that could have done this to me. So, I guess we have to educate these docs one by one. Augh!
