  • 3 years later...

So, my appt with the oral surgeon was not smooth. The tooth with the

root canal came out in pieces, it was brittle. Came out root by root,

piece by piece. So, needless to say I am back on antibiotics because

he had to cut my gums and I have stitches. I am also on Hydrocodone.

He said I will be in great pain without them. Oh fun, I can only eat

soft foods for the next few days - any recommendations?

I guess the positive in all this is that the tooth is GONE - plus that

root canal. Cheers to detox.

Soft hugs, Lynn

Hey girlfriend,

If you can get on raw garlic, do so! Maybe you can make a chicken

broth and crush the garlic into it? Garlic will kill any and all

bacteria you've been exposed to...I know the antibiotics will too, but

the garlic is for good measure!

Yogurt will be helpful too...sorry you have to eat soft foods and get

over this nasty experience, but I know you are going to be much

healthier with that tooth gone, gone, gone!

I love you too Dede!! Thank you for the post.

I am sick of being sick, but the tooth issues are taking my mind off

the joint pains and neuropathy. Or maybe it is the drugs? He he...

At work there were two posting for jobs in Dallas and Austin w/ my

company, I am seriously considering it! I love Colorado but the past

two winters have been so harsh on my joints and bones. Oh, and I

know I would get to come and meet you!

I doubt my hubby would be on board though but if my joint issues

don't get better I am thinking of moving south. I can take the heat

but I can't do this bitter cold.

Love and HUGE hugs, Lynn

Yum! I will have to make that sometime soon but I can barely get out

of bed now :(

I am sure I'll be fine in a couple of days. Hubby will get me

anything I need but I don't know if he is up to cooking. I may have

to go with organic soup or something?

I will copy that receipe though, it sounds so good.

Thanks for posting! Love,

Hey Patty,

Okay, this is one that is simple enough that my hubby would actually

do for me. Great idea with the garlic!

I will have him get some organic chicken broth and some garlic at the

story. Oh, and some yogurt to combat the yeast.

I agree, so glad that tooth is gone and the experience is over.

Ahhhh, CLynn! That sounds yucky! Well, at least the stupid too is gone

now! For foods, I'd stick to lots of soups! Have you tried the Amy's

organics soups yet? You can get them at King Soopers. PH always gives

me a hard time because I eat them so much!

Did you hear about the sink hole on I-25??? Man, did THAT make me

cranky on my way home! Grrrr.... took forever to get home! Hubby is

still downtown, he's sittin it out at Rock Bottom for awhile :-).

Should be interesting getting to work tomorrow!

Love ya!

Thanks Krista! I will have to go to Kings.

I didn't hear about it. Where was it? My appt was in Denver today,

I had to take I-25. Must have been further South.

I don't know how you do the big City life. Augh! My commute is

about 7 minutes, little to no traffic. I feel for you sweetie! That

would stress the heck out me... I hope it isn't too bad for you

tomorrow.

Oh, I love Rock Bottom's food - yummy!

Lynn,

I'm sorry getting that tooth out was such a major undertaking! . . . Hopefully you'll feel better with it gone.

I wish I had some no-cook recipes for you . . . I made some Salmon bisque yesterday with canned salmon we brought back from Alaska. . .It was wonderful . . . but it did take a bit of work.

Did the dentist give you a rinse? . . . If not, you may try a bit of 3% hydrogen peroxide. . . That takes care of me when my gums are a bit sore. Just swirl around for a bit, then spit out. . . don't swallow.

Hugs,

Rogene

CLynn- The sink hole was right there on I-25 it was at about 58th. I

passed it while riding on the bus (in the HOV lane, which was opened

to everyone!) It was a huge massive hole in the freeway! I couldn't

believe my eyes! Yikes! Can you imagine driving on I-25 when it

happened??? I'm so glad you had already gone through it at that point.

Yes, downtown life is a pain in the hiney!!!

Love, Krista

p.s sorry about the typo in my last email, I meant to type " tooth " and

I typed " too. " Oops!!!

At 58th Ave and I-25, the North Bound side is closed all lanes, may

be for days. They are using the HOV lanes to go N. until this is

fixed. It is 3 lanes wide with cracks extending into the other lanes.

Oh, Sweet Lynn;

I am happy that you had that rotten tooth removed. My dentist told me that you should have it removed. He also told me that root canals have a high rate of failure. This wonderful man told me that he had watched a documentary on breast implants where the implants were black with fungi. His wife wanted breast implants, but after hearing my horror story she did not have them.

We love you always...Lea

So, my appt with the oral surgeon was not smooth. The tooth with the root canal came out in pieces, it was brittle. Came out root by root, piece by piece. So, needless to say I am back on antibiotics because he had to cut my gums and I have stitches. I am also on Hydrocodone. He said I will be in great pain without them. Oh fun, I can only eat soft foods for the next few days - any recommendations? I guess the positive in all this is that the tooth is GONE - plus that root canal. Cheers to detox. Soft hugs, Lynn

Hi Lea,

I am feeling a little better today, mouth is just sore but it will

heal. I am glad the tooth is gone, should have just pulled it years

ago.

Sounds like you have a wonderful dentist!

I hope you are having a good day and that you have a nice weekend.

It is actually nice and sunny today in Colorado! I can't wait for

spring.

Love you, Lynn

Try helichrysum for pain, Theives, clove, melaleuca (nerve), cajeput, Roman chamomile or Purificaiton for pain & anti-bacterial. Wintergreen (for bone issue). Hydrogen peroxide & water rinse may help with the infection. Did the dentist tell you not to use a straw while healing, not to smoke and no carbonation? All of these things will keep the blood clot from forming or falling out and cause dry socket.

On the device, go to Dental at the top of the ruler bar is the Therapy options and in that list is one for pain, and trauma. Set the timer and let it run (7-15 min). Spinal timed therapies has teething pain (it is for dental pain).

Tooth

I recently had a tooth pulled, tried to save it, but had to have it pulled two weeks ago. It did not form a blood clot over the bone, and got a dry socket.

I have used many frequencies and programs to help this. Extreme pain. It had a low grade infection and inflammation for a long time the dentist feels. Nerve issues. Been a challenge to get on top of this.

Would anyone have any suggestions, knowledge, websites etc, about dry sockets and healing. Also prevention of. I have another one that will have to come out also. I won't do the root canals.

Thanks Sharon

Apply neat vodka or 50/50 with water. Vodka kills most bacteria. Also see Hulda s protocols. If you use vodka as a mouth wash three times a day it should do the trick. As an extreme oregano oil also kills bacteria but it does taste awful and stings. In dental click on the appropriate tooth to treat daily. Bye Sue
