DStottlemyer- I was in the same position as you 4 months ago when I

first started suspecting my implants. I want proof before I'd have

them removed. The thing was, I was perfectly healthy before implants

and it wasn't until I had a rupture in my saline implant that I

started to become ill. I had every test known to man trying to figure

out what was wrong with me. My doctor and another friend (with

implants) finally brought up the fact that I started feeling ill right

after my rupture, and that maybe I should start looking at the

implants as the culprit. I guess deep down I had been suspecting them

for quite some time. I started doing research, and it finally became

clear to me why I had been so sick. It's usually a gut feeling (the

same feeling that brought you to this forum.)

Many of us have testing done to determine if the implants left us with

high amounts of chemicals, heavy metals and environmental pollutants.

Most of us test extremely high in these things. It's amazing what

implants are made of and you can have a leak and not even know it.

Some of the gals had very slow leaks and didn't know it until the

implant was out. Many women develop autoimmune disorders with implants

because the body has attacked the foreign object (the implant) and

caused the bodies immune system to malfunction, there are just so many

ways you can get sick from the implants.

I think the only way you'll know is if you have them removed. With

them in, you will ALWAYS be fighting an uphill battle with your

health. By having them removed, you have a fighting chance of getting

your health back.

There is no blood test that I know of. Sorry! I came to the

conclusion when I had all these strange symptoms and no doctors could

give me anything but drugs to cover them up. Oh, most doctors had any

idea of what was going on with me. Then I search the internet and

there are too many women with implants and sick with my exact symptoms

for me not to know in my heart of hearts that the implants were making

me sick.

It was tough to convince both my husband and my family of this. But

they have seen the improvement since they have been removed.

Please just read the files, links and stories.

Hugs, Lynn

DD,Please take the time to follow the stories of some of the women through their messages in the archives . . . You'll learn that you're not crazy . .. you're not alone . . . and that you can get your life back. The bad news is that it can be costly to get explanted . . . and that you're on your own to figure out how to the the toxins out of your body. . . It seems virtually all implanted women have a systemic fungal/yeast/Candida problem going on . . . so that's a good place to start. Eating a healthy diet is huge! No sugar, refined grains, or processed foods. . . no deep fried or microwaved foods either. It gets easier as you get used to it.If only they would study the women

who have gotten sick after implants, they may have some tests . . . However, they've carefully avoided testing sick women - or children! . . . In fact, in some of the so-called studies, women were dropped from the study when they had their implants removed . . . with no mention of their health, or further follow up.Hugs and prayers,Rogene
