Wonderful letter to share

Hi Ladies,

I received this wonderful letter in my email box and just wanted to share it with you all.

What a joy it is to get letters like this one! I am keeping her anonymous... but I am saying thanks for her decision! She's a smart lady! We ARE making a difference~!

Hi, Patty! I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for sharing your horrifying story on your saline filled silicone shell breast implants - I am so so terribly sorry for your pain and state of health you are left in. I do want to let you know, however, that by sharing your story, you have changed my mind about getting breast implants that, I too, thought were safe now.

My friend has had implants for 12 years and assured me (and still does) that they are completely safe (hers are saline filled also) as she has had no problems with them. She is actually an RN now for a plastic surgeon and has been able to obtain a HUGELY discounted price for me to be implanted. I was scheduled for 4/17/2008. I am a B cup now and was going to go to a full C. However, after reading your story, line by line, only getting worse, I decided to cancel. She insists it's ok. I don't want to take that chance that I might be one of the ones who reacts to them in this way.

Just wanted to let you know that your gift of giving was received by this female and it has changed my opinion. I also read that the FDA hasn't done a long-term study on the safey of saline filled breast implants so they don't even really know what happens after 8-10 years with them! WOW~! I would have never known that if I hadn't stumbled upon your site.

If you have the time, please write me to let me know how you are doing now as your story has really touched my heart and I will always keep you in my thoughts and prayers. If I don't hear from you, may you feel better and be VERY well! -- Thank you! D
