Guest guest
a, Welcome! I'd consider Dr. Huang in Denver . . . She would do her best to get every bit of garbage out . . . You wouldn't have to worry if they were properly removed. Please don't take any diagnoses seriously until your implants are out and you've had a chance to detox. We have tons of valuable information in the archived files and messages . . . You can get your life back . . We know because we've seen so many women like you get their life back! You can too! Hugs and prayers, Rogene Explantation Doctor in Salt Lake City, Utah Hi Ladies,I am new to the group. I just signed up today and Iam so glad that I did.I had saline implants inserted in Dec. 1997 and hadthem replaced (due to rippling) in Dec. 2004. At thattime my doctor told me the new silicone immplantswould be much better and he would even put them in hiswife.I have been ill since June 2007 with all the samesymptoms I have been reading about on the internet implant sites. It all started last June withextreme fatigue and swelling in my feet, ankles andcalves. I also had sudden unexplainable weight gain. I had to drink energy drinks to get through the day atwork. I have gone from full time hours to part-timeand am praying I can hold on to my job.My symptoms progressed to having dizziness, nightsweats, blurred vision, constant sore throat, headaches, brain fog, a burning sensation in my rightbreast etc. I also tested positive for EBV and Mono. I continue to get new neurological symptoms. When Iget the least bit tired my eyes become glassy and myvoice becomes soft and weak. I am also lightsensitive and noise sensitive. I've also had oddsores appearing in different places around my body(interestingly one place is on my rightbreast...... .the breast with the burning sensation!!)My primary care physician tells me I need to bepatient because it is the mono/EBV and it could takeme up to a year to feel better. She did not think myimplants were related at all. As a matter of fact, mydoctors last office notes stated I may need apsychiatric consultation.I have an appt. with an Infectious Disease Specialistnext Monday. After researching my symptoms on the internet the lastcouple of weeks, I am certain my problems stem from myimplants and I want to have them removed. I'm so sadabout this because I have loved the way my implantshave looked and I do feel very feminine with them butthat is so unimportant to me right now. I just wantto feel well and be alive!! This is not living! I've been learning how immportant it is to have theimplants explanted correctly. I have been emailing acouple of special ladies in the support group today who have already given me good information. My question to all of you is.......Does anybody outthere know of a good plastic surgeon in the Salt LakeCity, Utah area that is known to do a thoroughexplantation?Thank you all for your time.Sincerely,a ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
a, If you'll read through the old messages, you'll see woman after woman coming to the group desperate for information . . . wondering if her implants could be the cause . . . Gradually she begins to understand what she needs to do and develops her plan . . . Based on the way you express yourself, it's apparent you have what it takes to take control of your health so you can get better. It takes committment and patience . . . but it works! It will seem overwhelming at first . . . Just take it slow and try not to stress over this. Rather than see any more M.D.s, see if you can find a good naturopathic doctor. If you can find a doctor who is both an M.D. and a N.D, you'll have a real winner! . . .possibly with insurance coverage. It may take a leap of faith to follow their direction at first . . . but you'll find they understand far better than the M.D.s. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
HI a, Your symptoms sound much like mine do so im sure they are from your implants. I am getting an explant next month by a doctor the girls on this site recommended. It know it is very scary to have these symptoms going on with your body but i am going to another state to have a doctor i have never even met remove these implants the correct way. I know that sounds nuts but that is how much faith i have in these women on this site. I have been here since July and they have provided so much great information that has helped me tremendously i have no doubt that this doctor is as good as everyone says. I too will miss my implants and how they look but i will not miss all the side effects that go with them! Im so happy that you chose to listen to yourself and research all of this rather then listen to others who think there is no connection between illness and inplants. > > > a, > > > > Welcome! > > > > I'd consider Dr. Huang in Denver . . . > > > > She would do her best to get every bit of garbage > > out . . . Guest guest
Hi a- Welcome to this special group! I am so glad you found us and are getting the much needed answers that you have been looking for. I have been explanted for almost 3 months now and my health has improved sooooooooo much! I started to get many of the same symptoms as you mentioned last spring when one of my implants deflated. My health continued to take a nose dive. I had every test known to man trying to figure out why I was so ill! I know how frustrating it all can be. I feel very blessed to have found this group and realized it was my implants making me so sick! I was explanted by Dr. Huang in Denver at the beginning of November. I am feeling so much better and each day I see improvements. I am finally getting my life back! You can read my story here http://www.humanticsfoundation.com/krista.htm, if you are interested. If you have any questions, just let me know! ~Krista --- In , paula haacke <pwhaacke@...> wrote: > > Hi Ladies, > > I am new to the group.
