Guest guest
Steph ~ you can have negative ANA's for 10 years and still have lupus, then one day it just turn positive. Lupus is a weird disease, was diagnosed in the early 90's with it. I am a negative ANA person, but have positive DNA and DNA titer for it, as well as most all the symptoms, and elevations in other tests. I have 5 types arthritis including a bad case of osteoporosis, but a very low sed rate..... even when my heart, lungs, liver and kidneys all went out I only had a 6 sed rate, and normal is 1-30. So, those tests dont show inflammation in me, but its there ! I took all those drugs for it, for a long time, and for me, it just makes me sicker, and have more symptoms that were actually side effects from the drugs. Be careful with conventional doctors and a diagnoses of lupus. It is a tangled web of deception and drugs, with no healing. Just fee for service doctor visits, and expensive drugs that do very little besides break you and make you sicker..............Been there, done that..... Just go for info and testing, but dont let them get you all worried about having diseases. You will heal. Believe it, know it, and stick close to us, we will help you along the way !
