Guest guest
I thought maybe i misunderstood it because that just makes no sense to me. I have been back and forth many times on if i am doing the right thing, getting an explant; but the bottom line is i am not willing to take that chance that it is, Not after hearing what the women on this site have been through. Vanity is just not that important to me, anymore! > > > > > > > > > > > > http://www.center4research.org/forgotten.html > > > > > > > > > > > > Quote: > > > > > > > > > > > > " Brent's story ended a few months after the FDA hearing. > One > > > > summer > > > > > morning, she drove to the top of a five-story parking garage > > at a > > > > > shopping mall in suburban Atlanta, climbed over the railing > > and > > > > leaped > > > > > to her death. Guest guest
I'd love to know how is doing now . . . If I had to guess, I'd say she's sick again and has had those implants removed too!I don't know many women who got implants back then who haven't gotten sick by now.Hugs,Rogene

Guest guest
No, no , they didn't second guess their decision at all! Both Phyllis and PJ Brent knew they had done the right thing by removing their breast implants. They fought the good fight and they knew the truth. But in the end, the lack of understanding by our society, the lack of support from doctors, the dirty tactics of the lawyers on the manufacturer's side, the inability of the FDA to take action, the long struggle to regain their health, and the guilt of what they had been through (2 of PJ's kids, born after she got implants, are sick) took its toll. They just didn't have the will to fight it all anymore. They were both precious, sweet, hurting women. Guest guest
, honey, she sounds like a nut case...love you.....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` Re: All but Forgotten Thats what i thought but there was a section in the HADCORP atricle that stated:" Ashby won't choose silicone, but she is choosing to replace the saline implants she had taken out in 1994. Like many others, she finds comfort in the studies that have found implants to be safe. "I got caught up in all the media hype," Ashby said. "I read about all these women who were getting sick, and I thought it was happening to me."Although much of the focus has been on silicone implants, many women insist that the silicone shell in saline implants can cause problems. So Ashby had the implants removed, and her health recovered. She now believes that she overreacted to the implant scare and that her symptoms were "all in my head."> > > >> > > > http://www.center4research.org/forgotten.html> > > > > > > > Quote:> > > > > > > > "Brent's story ended a few months after the FDA hearing.
