Guest guest
Hi Dede, Interesting that you say that. My colon hydrotherapist said to avoid oatmeal because it's basically glue and is used to make glue by some companies. She said that's where the term " gluten " came from...glue. Yet, I absolutely love oatmeal so I still do it anyway. I don't think it bothers me but I have so much brain fog all the time, who knows. I might do an elimination/challenge with it to find out. Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday! Guest guest
I use regular (non-organic) oatmeal . . . The Old Fashioned Oatmeal is better . . . more texture. You can use the one-minute though too.Rogene
Guest guest
Dearest Beth, thank you for asking Rogene what she puts in her oatmeal. Mine is getting boring, and this recipe sounds so much better. I think that putting some bran could help with constipation. I was putting raisins in, but then I was worried about the suger. eats them out of the container, he loves them. Take care, and we hope that your grandfather gets well...love you....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Re: Re: Ok, this is gross - sorry TMI PH . . . I wouldn't consider oatmeal to be basically glue whatsoever. . . I had it for breakfast this morning . . . with chopped pecans, chopped apple and raisins . . . with a dab of coconut oil and a bit of real maple syrup! . . . Yummy stuff!Rogene Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
Guest guest
Lea - thank you for the well wishes for my grandpa. He is getting better everyday....except he is prone to blood clots. However, since his surgery, his digestion has improved over the time. I just pray it never comes back cause he would not be able to go through that again....it was rough for him. He had a tube down his throat cleaning all the junk out and then after the surgery, he had no control over his bowel for months. He is finally getting his strenght back but he said he NEVERS wants to endure that again!!!! I have trouble eating oatmeal because i do not like the taste/texture of it but the way Rogene makes it, it sounds so YUMMY!!!! Much Love, Beth Re: Re: Ok, this is gross - sorry TMI PH . . .
