It is more disappointing to see someone who constantly flames someone who is

trying to help others while they themselves inconsiderately do not delete what

is not necessary to the message she is replying to. Sue Massie is an angel,

please stop flaming her and simply do not read her emails if you do not wish to.

Please don't use this forum to insult and cut each other down. Especially

when the purpose is to compete with others re: products. We need positive

input and support for each other.

Wow! Lyme Aid now has over 900 members! Because of this, I want to go over

a couple of things that could benefit the new members as well as the members

who have been here a while. PLEASE read this message in it's entirety.

Some of this information you may already know, but some of it may be new.

And some information may just be good to review again.

It may be difficult for you to stay on top of all of the email messages

coming through the list. There are a few things you may want to try to help

you sort your Lyme Aid email from your regular email.

1) Get a free email address from or Hotmail and use this as your Lyme

Aid email address.

2) Stop receiving email from this group and read the messages from the web.

(You can also respond to messages from the web.)

3) Use " Folders " and " Rules " to automatically sort your Lyme Aid email into

it's own space (folder) in your email program.

If you have any questions about these options, please let me know. =)

These are just ideas, you don't have to use them if you don't want to.

It's also important to remember that with so many people in the group, there

are going to be disagreements. There are going to be approximately 900

different opinions on each subject mentioned. It may be necessary from time

to time to ignore a message or two using the delete button. Lyme Aid

usually runs smoothly, even during disagreements. But sometimes feelings

get hurt and tempers can flare. If you find yourself in this type of

situation, I encourage you to take some time away from the situation and

allow yourself to calm down. Look at the situation with a new, fresh

perspective when you feel a little better about things. The medium of email

allows for miscommunication in SO many ways.

If a situation, or discussion, is still bothering you after you've taken

time to reassess, please bring your concerns to my attention. I may be able

to help explain the situation to you, or I may in fact need a situation

brought to my attention. (I try to read each message, but occasionally I

miss something.) What I don't want you to do is send angry or hurtful

messages to the group. Messages like that never solve a problem and I would

prefer to always look for a solution. I often work in the background, with

private email, to solve problems. So please don't assume I'm doing nothing

just because you don't see me posting to the list.

I am not writing this now because I see a problem, nor do I expect to see a

problem! I just wanted to issue a little reminder to all of us at a time

when our daily message count is rising.
