Guest guest
,Congratulations! Those are two big moments, indeed!I think that leaving some food behind is huge not because of how much or little you left behind, but because you were really paying attention! And did the loving, caring thing for yourself of leaving behind what you weren't enjoying. Also great work in recognzing when you were heading to eat for comfort when you weren't even hungry!yay!abby I had two big moments I wanted to share with the group last night: First my wife and I were out to dinner with her sister and her husband. We had frozen custard afterwards which I was enjoying. Near the bottom of the cup I noticed that I wasn’t tasting it anymore so I stopped because I knew this meant I’d had my fill. I didn’t leave much behind but that’s not the point – I was so excited about receiving the signal that I just didn’t’ want anymore. Second, later on, I received an unpleasant e-mail from my mother on my phone as I was headed to Walgreens for non-food related purposes. I found myself heading towards the food aisle when I stopped and asked myself why. I realized I wasn’t hungry and that it was all emotional.
