Guest guest
Jen, I don't have hardly any friends that work out as hard as I do. I am too much talk about weight training for them, but then again I don't have that many friends here in Boise. So, my husband has to listen to me talk about how much I lift, blah blah blah... I think that he listens.... kathi --- Lud & Howe <howefive@...> wrote: > Thanks for all your answers to my many queries! Guest guest
I didn't do any official challenges because I started gung ho and never took before pictures(I didn't think there would be any difference since I wasn't overweight to begin with--I was wrong). I just adopted the lifestyle because it works well for me and I wanted to look like those people on the muscle magazines. Stasia

We're doing personal challenges I'm not willing to use an EAS product to be able to do the official challenge. ~ Serenity (who needs a million bucks if you feel like a million bucks? *grin*)

I did send away for the challenge papers, and I on occasion get the ready to drink stuff and AdvantEdge bars, so that still keeps me in the running, I think! Although I stockpile different protein bars for variety!

Guest guest
Hi ! That is great! You are totally right. More proof that the more you know about this condition, the better prepared you are for docs who don’t! Thanks to you all! Here's my latest story. I've had A for over 20 years (16 years Heller post op) and it's been pretty liveable - I've figured out how to cope. So I'm pushing 8 months pregnant and it's dramatically increased my reflux at night and I've had some bad spasms in the past month or so - because of the pregnancy I can't take my Ativan to help them go away. Last week, I went to see the Physicians Assist. at the GI office to see if there was something I could get to help (I really don't want any more bouts of 4 hours of pain and vomiting. I mention to him that in the spring, after I've recovered from the delivery, I will need to schedule some follow up as I haven't seen the doc in over 4 years and I'm do for an endoscopy. He tells me all about how great Botox is and great success, yadda yadda. I mention this group to him and said 'hey, my understanding is that Botox is temporary at best and it's really only a good solution for those who are not surgical candidtates' - well, he backpedaled quickly from that statement. It's good to be informed!! Moral of my story is THANKS to you all. Prior to finding this site, I would never have known that Botox was not a good option for me. Even after 20 years, I've learned so much from you all here. It's also been so wonderful to have a group that UNDERSTANDS. Happy Holidays and Happy Swallowing to you all!! -michelle in Virginia
Guest guest
I just wanted to thank everyone that has lifted my husband and I up in light and prayer. I really feel I have had a miracle healing and got some very good news that my heart is healthy and happy. I have even noticed a big change in my husbands energy and health we still have a few things to work out but I know they will be fine with all this love we are receiving! Thank you all so very much!
