I am kicking the habit and as you can imagine, now the concern is on my body and not gaining weight. I know, I should focus on health and prepare for the surgery that I will have with a full month of no nicotine in my system but I am so tempted so step on the scale. Any affirmation that might help? I am doing this cold turkey and since I have a clear goal, it has been working so well. My last three cigarettes were on Tuesday and I have not even been tempted to have one since then. 55 hours of nicotine free! But I did step on the scale and I was 10 pounds lighter a month ago. Since Nov, my body weight has been on and off between 7 to 10 punds. I am so scared and I want to go back to the weight that I maintened in 2009 or at least the most part of 2009. any ideas?
