Guest guest
Hi Pam, Thanks for the home email address, mine is marriaaa@... I can't believe it's only 10 days away! I'm so sorry you had to wait so long because of the lining. I would be so upset if my doctor went away right now - I'd probably camp out on his doorstep and refuse to leave until I was pregnant (actually that's not a bad idea - I know where he lives!). Have you thought about how many eggs you're implanting? It's such a tough decision. I want to read the IVF information again, there was too much going on for it to really sink in the first time. I'm also going to look at the web site you suggested. Since dh is gone for a few days I'll have plenty of time for research!!! Think positive!!! Sending lots of ~~~~~~~~~~ baby dust!!! And healthy lining!!! maria Re: maria (IVF) > > > I knew in October that we were going to start IVF. Guest guest
My insurance only covered up to diagnosis. They covered my surgery but not my IUI's and IVF's. At my dr office you have to get approved by them to do IVF. They said it takes longer if you have to get approved by your insurance co. You might want to check on that. Luckily we have a good perscription plan. The IVF is $7500.00 + meds. We had to bring it in before we started. We had to go to an IVF class were they explained everything and could ask questions. We were also given packets w/disclosures and info. I'm sure you will know more after you talk to your dr on Tuesday. Have you ever been in the fertilethoughts web site? They have an IVF board. Its kind of cool to read the posts. A lot I didn't understand until I got to that point. Pam
Guest guest
Pam, That's a great idea. I have called my insurance company already to see if IVF was covered. They said under my plan AI is covered but not IVF. I questioned it because so far everything has been covered, even my surgery. They suggested having the doctor write a letter stating the reasons why I could not have AI and had to do IVF. That it may get approved based on need. I don't think the letter has gone out yet. We have really good insurance, so hopefully it will work. I can't believe how expensive the medications (and procedures) are! maria maria (IVF) > maria > > You might want to check w/your insurance co. I never thought to ask and I hit my $5,000.00 cap > last year. > > Pam > > > >
