Dennis Debbaudt is the proud father of Brad, a young man who has autism. A professional investigator and law enforcement trainer, Dennis has authored or co-authored over 30 autism safety related articles and books since 1993 including the book Autism, Advocates and Law Enforcement Professionals: Recognizing and Reducing Risk Situations for People with Autism Spectrum Disorders Kingsley

Publishers. London and articles for the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin (April, 2001). He produced the Autism & Law Enforcement Roll Call Briefing Video (2004), the Autism, Fire-Rescue & Emergency Medical Services video and the Autism in the Criminal Justice System (both 2009). Dennis has also developed autism training for NYPD (2008), consulted to Chicago Police Department, trains TEAM Adam investigators at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and has consulted to ABC News 20/20 on a segment regarding autism and false confession. WOW THIS IS SOOOO SCARY! PEOPLE NEED TO BE TRAINED AND EDUCATED ON HOW TO HANDLE THE AUTISTIC COMMUNITY... . IM SOOO UPSET TO LOOK AT THAT VIDEO!

I provide this training for free through my work at the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities at USF www.flfcic.org . We are collaborating with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in the process of packaging a curriculum that includes as developmental disablities and will provided to any Law enforcement agency for free. I will share the details with you as soon as it's finalized.
