Guest guest
Hello Clynn ~ Well girl, sounds like you have a golf ball attached to your ovary. I had one like that too, my largest one was golf ball sized, and I got it right after I had my son. It was there several months, then it ruptured one day, gave me pretty bad pain for a couple hours, and some fever, then all of a sudden, I started to feel better and I got better and better..........it was all gone on its own ! ! Anyway, I wanted you to hear a good story of a large mass, and I had one to share. Here is a site I found that has lots of info, and discussion. sex, lies, and uterine fibroids , or if that link doesnt work http://www.uterinefibroids.com/rhi_cysts.htm, the whole link name. I hope this helps you, but I am sure you already know all that is here. I will research some for you tomorrow, or later this evening and see what I can find, see if there is something new....and natural. Love you ! ! and.......believe in miracles ! God does make them happen ! DedeWondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Get new twists on family favorites at AOL Food.

Guest guest
Hi CLynn,I am so sorry this is happening. I wish I could make it all better for you. God has a special plan for all of us, I just know it. Please stick to your gut instincts and don't let these docs push you around. I will keep you in my prayers for a positive appointment.Love you,Traciiluvmy3pets <spinkscl@...> wrote: Update on my ovary. I went to the endometriosis specialist down in Denver. Appt went so so... he was more about the $$$ and workin on in-vitro then concerned about the mass on my ovary. He ran another ultrasound (I had just had one 3 weeks ago) and another CA125 - which I had one a month ago. He had my prior results right there. Again $$!! Good and bad news. The bad is that the mass has grown and the texture isn' consistant with that of endometrioma. The good news is my CA125 went down from 55 to 38. He suggestions were to wait one month, have me drive back to Denver and run another ultrasound and CA125 to see if it shrunk. COME ON! I have had 3 ultrasounds and each time it has grown. Oh, and he said he would put me on birth control. If that doesn't work, the we do surgery. I am irritated, once again, with a doctor. So, I have made an appt with my local OB/GYN (who I was going to see) and see what his take on the whole thing is. The doc down in Denver feels he can save my ovary. He can remove the cyst or drain the endometrioma (if that is what it is). He will send tissue in for pathology and if it came back malignant, he'd refer me to an oncologist. Nothing I want to really think about. Anyhow, that is the latest. I have a surgical appt w/ the local doctor on Monday the 19th. The other doc, which good, is all about the money and he is barking up the wrong tree - I am broke! Love, CLynn "Feeling down? Guest guest
Hey CLynn, I had the same thing a number of years ago. I had surgery for it, and at the time my doctor wasn't comfortable using the less invasive procedures they have today. I can't say it was an easy process and I was out of work a month. Then about 8 years ago another one formed and the doctor wanted me to have surgery again, and I put it off for a while and then my period stopped coming all together. The doctor said it was ovarian failure, not sure if it was from the mass or not, but I call it a mercy killing. The mass shrunk because my hormone levels changed. Sis Update on my ovary. I went to the endometriosis specialist down in > Denver. Guest guest
Sis, Did they test the tissue of your ovary? Was it benign? Did they say what the mass was? Sounds scary! Hope my surgery isn't as invasive, but we will see. I have a consult on Monday the 19th. Thanks for the post CLynn > Update on my ovary. I went to the endometriosis specialist down in > > Denver. Guest guest
CLynn, Yes, they have to test anything they remove from your body - this was benign and it was a chocolate cyst, which is endometrial tissue. Guest guest
CLynn,You are a special young Lady and a good friend. I am praying for you. Don't forget, we are Moms too. Just because our children have fur on them doesn't make them any less our children. Just try telling that to Prowler. He's sleeping on a blanket right near me. When I've been my sickest, he's guarded me and wouldn't sleep until Hubby would come to bed. Only then would he relax.Whatever happens, we're in it together. Hang in there and I won't let go.Love you,Traciiluvmy3pets <spinkscl@...> wrote: Traci, You are the sweetest friend. Just pray for me.
