Guest guest
If your hubby as fatty liver, his liver is packed with a huge amount of stones. I'm no expert, but I don't think the malic acid will do much good. s Moritz has said that taking chanca piedra extract will break down stones, but the process is incredibly slow compared to flushing. I would give him more time to come around to the idea of flushing. I have taken chanca piedra to help break up a really tough blockage in the liver, and just don't think it will do enough for him... johng > Does anyone know if it is benificial to take malic acid over a > longer period of time. Guest guest
Patty , Do you think I should take Malic Acid to chelate Aluminum from my body and still continue with the foot baths. Maybe this will help with the absorption of Calcium and Magnesium. I really don't want to go back to chelation because I have to go to work and its impossible to do that and work too. I have noticed I have had gas all day today and very fatigued in my 3 day of menstrual cycle. My husband says I always have gas all day long in my periods since being sick. I am feeling in despair(crying) and I hate that feeling but dont know what I am doing wrong unless this is the Aluminum in me doing this ? Is this what you felt like ? I still on the same mg. of Armour and feel I need more but waiting for my t3 to come back for next month. I aprreciate your and everyone elses input !! Guest guest
, I am a bit unfamiliar with the effects of Malic Acid, so I don't know how well it chelates aluminum (if at all) or what effect the ionic foot baths will have on anything. I believe the ionic foot baths are quite helpful though. What kind of work are you doing? When I was sick, I had those feelings of despair quite a bit. I know what you are going through. All I can say is don't give in to those feelings. They are normal, but you have to hang on to the hope you have. , you are STILL not far enough past your last surgery. Be patient and don't try to figure everything out. Sometimes this stuff just can't be figured out. It waxes and wanes in its own rhythm, and the only thing I can say with confidence is that if you continue to eat correctly, address your hormonal issues, get plenty of rest and avoid stress, you will be doing what your body needs best for healing. If you have serious issues that need medical attention, of course, that needs to be addressed, but for the most part, the women I have seen getting better don't have alot of health issues that need serious medical intervention. Thyroid issues seem to be the most common. Don't stress too much...I know you want healing soon and you've been ready for it for a long time, but give yourself more time. If you feel that Malic Acid is an answer based on your research, then by all means give it a try. I am all for trying new things that are safe and have a promise of helping, but remember there are no magic bullets. Just tenacity, patience, detoxing, and FAITH to get better. Your belief in your healing has power in itself. Keep trusting God for it. Guest guest
Patty, Are you saying that you dont know if the ionic Foot baths will even help ? So another words you are saying that if it were you that you would do the DMSA ...Right? I go for my interview at the Ohio Turnpike and that is when I will start working so it will be hard for me to work and chelate. Insurance did not pay for my surgery to get the capsules out or thyroid doctor and as you know I have spent some money on vitamins and detoxes in almost 4 years now. So I have to go to work to pay for these things since my husband had to take a pay cut due to the economy which is half the pay now. OUCH !!!!!! Malic Acid is suppose to help detox Aluminum and help absorb Calcium and magnesuim so I am trying to hit it with one birdie. I know the Lord is going to heal me and I am just barely getting by on keeping up with my precious family. When I am weak ..he is strong. And I will be strong one day to tell my story. I cant wait til I am no longer fatigued any more. Do most girls stay on thyroid meds who had breast implants ? It must be that the chemicals are so bad in the implants that it damages the thyroid ???? I hope you figure your meds out that is so very important Patty. I was thinking about seeing a doctor for bio-hormones but not sure yet or have the finances yet. Right now trying to get the thyroid doctor meds right at this time. I am still on 60 mg(armour) but feel I need more and I go back next month. I just feel its not soon enough. Thanks for your input Patty, It can be so frustrating at times, Love and God Bless, Happy Mothers Day, In a message dated 5/10/2008 12:42:57 A.M. Guest guest
Hi , I hope you had a very pleasant Mother's Day! No, that is not what I meant...I just meant that I didn't know if the ionic foot baths would do the job or not, and I didn't know about the malic acid. I think the ionic foot baths may have an impact on the aluminum as well as other metals in the body, and I know that there are lots of testimonies on its use. I've done DMSA several times, and I know it chelates metals. I know for sure that works. But it is also more labor intensive to work out the schedule than an ionic foot bath. If you have the ionic foot bath at home, use it and see what happens. If you know the malic acid does what you want to accomplish, by all means, use that too. Wow, I'm so sorry about your husbands job! That's so hard. It's happening to more and more people and I sure hope things turn around very soon. I upped my Armour thyroid meds and realized that is what I needed to do. Since using the bio-identical estrogens and progesterone, I have not changed my Armour dose and by golly, that is what I needed to do! Cricket made me realize that! Estrogen is depressive of thyroid function and that had totally slipped my mind. I'm upping it by 1 grain and so I'll see how that goes, but I definitely noticed I'm lasting longer than I was before--not so tired at the end of the day. I wish you success at your interview for the Ohio turnpike and that you are able to do the job without stressing yourself out. What kind of work will it be ? You've been hanging in there---and you are working so hard to get your health back. It's going to happen in time sweetie! Guest guest
Thanks Patty, My job will consist of taking money for a toll booth on the turnpike. Right now I do not have my energy so I just have to push myself so I can afford to pay for the thyroid doctor. That is just it ...I dont know if I can work out a schedule of doing the DMSA while working so I will rely on the ionic foot bath. I have been taking the malic acid and have noticed stuff coming out in my urine and bad breath with it. So I will try this for about 5 weeks and see what happens ....its also suppose to help absorb calcium and magnesium which I think I need since my test showed high but I feel that its a malasortion issue. Guest guest
Patty, I didn't mean to hit send yet on my letter to you. OOPs. My test show 1% mercury in me and that is nothing only high in bismuth and aluminum so if the malic acid dont work I will have to do the chelation and try to work out a schedule someway ...somehow. I will have to keep that in mind about the bio-identicals hormones that you had to up the Armour grain ...that is something what we learn on this site. I am glad you are doing better Patty that is wonderful news .... I like to here the positives in all this. I have brain fog a lot especially when I take garlic and I have read that sulfur foods are to help get rid of the aluminum in our bodies. So even though it causes brain fog I am going to keep up with the garlic. I have short term memory ..I have been noticing but at least the humming noise had gone away in my ears. That is a blessing !! I was on the couch all day on Mothers Day ....I havent received all my energy back yet but I cant wait til I do. I think the thyroid meds need to be upped but waiting on the blood work. Do you think you will ever go off the Armour thyroid ? And is this a result of having the implants that we have to stay on Armour the rest of our lives due to the damage that the implants did to the thyroid ? I hope you had a wonderful Mothers Day as well !!! God Bless and Remain Blessed, In a message dated 5/12/2008 9:52:04 A.M. Guest guest
, Unfortunately, I don't think that I'll ever be able to get off the Armour thyroid. Hashimoto's is an autoimmune disease, an supposedly incurable. My body will attack itself probably until the day I die. Taking the Armour will replace what my own thyroid can no longer produce since it is under attack. Usually those who are hypothyroid have to stay on thyroid meds, as the thyroid just never really regains its former efficient function, whether it is due to autoimmunity or not.
