Guest guest
Thanks Irene! I only know of one person who had MS...a friends father and he died of it. Not exactly an encouring example =( My party days are over and have been for a long time. I'm lucky if I can stay awake long enough to see the news *lol* I rarely drink, never smoked, etc... I will do what the doctor tells me. I won't know anything though until Dec. 27th. Anne Re: Neuro developments << I have just found out I have to have 4 MRI's because my neuro thinks I might have MS...now that scares me to death and of course I've looked it up on the Internet which has only freaked me out even more. >> My sister and a couple of close friends have MS. My sister for at least40 years and is still hanging in there. She does what the doctor tells her and she is taking those new shots which are working wonders on people with MS. One of the others I see a lot of as we live in the same city. She also takes the shots but she does not follow her doctors instructions. She drinks to much, smokes to much and does not take the rest that she is supposed to be getting. Stays of late partying and all ready had some complications. The other friend lives a bit far away but does pretty well. She does smoke and once in a while parties to late but is doing great. What I am trying to say is that you have to do what is necessary for your health with MS. Do as your doctor tells you to if you have MS. Some of the things that I listed above are not necessary and I am not saying that you drink, smoke and all the rest because I do not know. They are just examples of the sort of thing that you need to do and not to do. My sister has been in remisson for 30 years until just lately. They put her on the shots and she is doing fine. You can do and live well with MS. My sister is ample proof of that. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
